Although I cross dress at home I’ve only been out for a couple of short walks, I’m really not very confident, I was wondering if there are any social events/meets that would welcome a new face. I am more than happy to travel as I am not ready to be out and about too locally, as I say not too confident

There are a number of TV social events that are fab for ‘first nights out’.
One is a monthly event held at a place called Pink Punters in Milton Keynes. They hold an event on the second Friday of every month called ‘The Big Night Out’ .. or BNO. There are usually 60+ (often more) girls of every shape / colour / creed etc - a great place to start.
A similar event is Leeds First Friday (LFF) … a girls night out in the link quarter in Leeds.
Check out the TVChix website, there are lots of girls in here who are members there. They list lots of events.

There's sheworld East London (Stratford) and Lovejoy's.(south London. (Sutton.). these are indoor..they are sex and social clubs....but obviously you don't have to get into the sex side if you don't want to.... plenty go just to socialize.. |

Never be worried about going to a gay or gay friendly pub with a friend or on your own. I find everyone is really friendly, even when I pop into a straight bar.
