This time last year .......

I was 21 stone stuck in st George's for a month after 2 heart attacks and going into heart failure ,type 2 diabetes and just to round things off fucking gout . Since then I've lost 5.5 stone reversed the diabetes and gout and got my fitness back from eating like a rabbit for a year and working out at least twice a week and slowly getting back into my jiu jitsu . Just realised it's this weekend a year ago . Not gonna brag but I'm fucking proud of myself big time .2 more stone and I'm back to my boxing weight nearly and I ain't been there since 2002 when i retired . This year's gonna be better than the last for sure xx |

Yup my heart's just 5% off full function now , I had a pacemaker fitted but they turned it off unless my heart beats below 50bpm , which it never does so it's a bit annoying that I have it , as they say I can't do heavy construction anymore or play jiu jitsu . But I'm still grappling lol |
