Debated whether to post or not and maybe one more for single females and couples but do lots of single guys offer photography services? I almost feel like people believe it is simply a tactic to get a meet.

I’m not a professional photography but I’ve got access to some nice locations and vehicles which offer nice backdrops to those who like to spice up their profile.

I know not for everyone but trying to get a more general gauge of why most seem rather suspicious of such offers.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies x

I’m not a professional photography but have access to secluded, isolated locations where I can take you. Alone.

Does the answer not write itself to you?

Who mentioned isolated locations? I don’t know if any and have no desire to traipse around the countryside looking for quiet lanes.

And I do have professional photography equipment I just don’t do it as a full time job. Please don’t criticise just for the sake of it. I am only trying to obtain a general view. Sorry if I wasn’t clear

You could keep the pictures, sell them, just do it in the hopes of more or just to even get a meet.

It's supsicous because so many guys are supposedly photographers or not and have nice props, backdrops and a good camera they can pull out of nowhere.

We've had multiple messages like this and no we don't and would never trust it, same with the guys that claim to be a masseur

If my next door neighbour with the untamed jungle beside mine offered to do my garden, I'd say no. If the next door neighbour with immaculate hedging and the amazing vertical apple tree thing going on offered to do my garden, I'd at least consider it.

Ok wine to revamp the profile then by the sounds of it.

This feedback is all positive because I fully understand why people wouldn’t be particularly interested and al the comments are fair and well made.

I personally wouldn’t want someone I didn’t do or trust taking face pics of me. So I do get it, I was just wondering more the amount of offers and what would put most off. It’s good to have more knowledge so thank you x

I’d say no regardless of the picture quality. Being in a place with a lone guy takes trust, having that guy have pictures of you in comprising attire/poses etc leaves you open to all sorts of drama. The law states that the person who takes the picture has the copyright of it and can then do what they want with it. You’d have a very hard job stopping those pictures going all round the internet

Yes a lot of single men offer photography services. The reasons we're suspicious and don't take them up on their offer are that we have no way of knowing what they'll do with the photos, they nearly always want to have sex with you, they often can't provide evidence of their photography skills and I can't relax with someone I don't know.

I am aware that we could provide our own sd card but many cameras have internal memory and space for two cards.

If you were offering any service people should be able to see credentials first.

So at the very least, a photographer, on FAB, should be able to display decent pics which might then entice a person to engage in a chat but as with so many guys advertising their ‘photography skills’ they usually have standard dick out, point and shoot pics

I’d be looking for someone to have some pics which show thought and imagination has gone into the pic. Plus then good use of props and light and also good editing skills.

Many local photography studios will offer group nights for those wanting to shoot ‘glamour’. There are also dedicated model and photographer websites that are free to join. You can develop skills and create a portfolio to show those you want yo work with you are genuinely interested.

Offering services on FAB will result in the feedback you are getting.

"Pfffft.

That should always be remembered.

I've spent thousands on photographic equipment, lighting set ups and lenses, but a modern phone is every bit as capable of producing excellent results. Hell, I once even did a wedding with my phone as a last minute stand in when the official photographer never turned up.

Weddings, concerts and landscape photography I'm a semi pro.

Erotica, I'm a rank amateur.

The thing is though, I'd never push it on here. People will find me. I won't go chasing them.

I think it’s creepy. I photograph my friends, partners and have photographed a few people here but would never pitch with it to meet someone new. Big red flag.

Also unless you are an experienced portrait pro, and a very good one , , photographing strangers is a bad idea. You wouldn’t know how to do it properly for a start.

Start with your friends if you need practice , portrait and glamour practice is much more interesting and useful than porn anyway.

I'm assuming a legitimate photographer couldn't put examples of their work on here (of third party models) due to privacy or copyright? I'm also assuming this site doesn't allow links to portfolio hosting sites? If that is the case, no legitimate photographer could demonstrate their portrait/glamour/erotic skills other than by posting selfies. Which I would say wouldnt address the concerns of people being approached to pose, that the photographer knows what they are doing and aren't using a camera as a means to get a jump. So I don't think many if any are going to agree to be models, as legitimacy will never be proven. And that is before any trust issues are considered. Hiding to nothing really. Better to stick to sites created for models and photographers to connect for work.

I am a photographer, but do not publish my work here for the simple reason that it got blocked a couple of times, as it did on another site where I was told not to upload somebody else's work... they were mine, but definitely not phone snaps. I do not offer photo services as a way to get meets. I do not offer photo services here at all. I mention that a play session might be a photo session, but only with the lady's consent.

I've had a similar situation too.

Image declined.

I mean, what do they want?

Copies of model release forms?

All my Semi Pro images are watermarked with my website address.

A little diligence on their part would have proved my credentials.

It's also an extremely well known fact that a photographer won't take direction because we're too used to giving it.

We prefer to be behind the lense and not in front of it.

But? Hey ho.. it is what it is.

After all this hoo-ha, I think I'll remove that photography part from my profile.

Although there might be one or two people on here I'd very much like to photograph, I don't think I'd approach anyone through here - unless maybe she was looking for that.

I think it's a bit of a fallacy that if a guy were "really" a photographer he'd have amazing pics on here. You can find mine (not of people) on the shelves of WH Smiths most weeks, taken on a fancy expensive DSLR camera, and I have profiles on PP and AF to show my 'adult' photography (mainly art nude) but I wouldn't call myself a pro or semi-pro, nor do I have any interest in posing for myself, which is why my pics here are snapshots taken on my old, not very good quality mobile.

If the locations & props you have access to were so picturesque I think you should have put pictures of them in your profile.

As it is, the obligatory lying-on-bed dick pic isn't really selling your services as a photographer or a location 'provider'

I understand that photographers probably don’t want to shoot themselves but it’s an opportunity to show the other skills of a photographer - imagination, use of light, editing of the pics - that’s what I’d be looking for from a photographer as frankly some people who say they are photographers have pics on their profile a photographer wouldn’t have at all.

Photographer has become a bit of a cliche here, personally anyone who claims to be a photographer here I avoid mainly because my ex is a genuine pro photographer and I have worked with photographers for many years. Why would a good photographer want to advertise or show his work on site like this. You could see his work at exhibitions, galleries and in his studio.

But this is an adult site and if you want to let some guy claiming to be a photographer here into your life than it it is up to you as adults - and accept the risks.

There’s no excuse for any pro not to have half decent shots, selfies are great way of trying out lighting setups and poses.

I am a pro, but most of our fab pics are done using my phone, unless I am shooting something in particular the dslrs and lights stay in the studio.

It’s the person taking the photos that makes the difference not the camera - no one ever says to Gordon Ramsey, that meal was amazing you must have a really good cooker.

Photographers, masseuse... I've very rarely been tempted for all the reasons listed above. Too many risks. Surely, if someone is into photography, their photos would reflect that, like Prey has said. It's not a question of time or doing it on themselves, if you appreciate good pictures, your eyes would bleed making terrible ones for yourself and using them on your profile. Just my thoughts.

I’m not a professional photography but I’ve got access to some nice locations and vehicles which offer nice backdrops to those who like to spice up their profile.

I don't really understand the suspicion, on a website where so many people like to post photos, and yet so many struggle with creative ideas other than catching your panty elastic in your stiletto heel, it seems a reasonable approach to offer some help.

A man I don't know taking photos of me on their camera which may include my face. I then have NO control over what happens to those photos. But you don't understand the suspicion?

So use your camera and your memory card... Problem solved. "

I've seen this a lot.

There is a market for it no doubt, but there are a lot of variables. With a professional, you kind of get what you pay for.

With someone random, it could be a lottery, I'm sure 99% offer a service which would be acceptable and all above board, BUT, it's a biggy, there are those after other things, creepy meets, hidden cameras, selling and using your pics against you.

It is a shame as there are lots of people that love to be filmed and couple that would like a third person film for fantasy fulfillment. It could be the photographers fantasy too. It would have to be all above board, agree who keeps the photos, even the memory cards on the day, and no sex for photographer.

It can be a thing if everyone is happy.

It’s one of the oldest lines in the book… ‘I’m a photographer’ ‘I’m a masseuse’ … women (and I’m sure some men too) hear these things time and time again. If someone was so good at what they do, firstly they wouldn’t be offering their services for free and secondly, they would have a nice selection of pics on their own profile as they will have a keen eye for lighting, posing, good angles etc, even when taking a selfie. I’d say in about 99.99% of cases OP, the answer will be ‘thanks, but no thanks’.

Sure some are creapy but usually they are just chancers, either looking for wank pics or open the door for them, think we'll invite them in and drop our pants.

Usually I find if they get defensive in chat or forums is a good indicator they are not. It doesn't take much to set up a phone or camera on a stand or even a tripod on timer to take passable selfies many here do just that. For a genuine Photographer would be no effort whatsoever. Just my thoughts

"If you want credibility as a photographer you need a good looking portfolio. "

I would suspect that any genuine photographer would be able to link you to their portfolio (mine are on AF and PP for example) but whether they have a decent profile in another kettle of fish altogether.

On a separate note, one other thing to bear in mind: maybe there are some photographers who prefer being *behind* the camera for a reason, who maybe wouldn't want to spend ages looking at and editing photos of themselves, clothed or nude, they might have body issues of their own for example...

Sure body confidence /issues etc is entirely feasible, however, I'm sure any photographer with an ounce of talent would at the very least consider framing, lighting and background clutter when creating their own image.

I know a few and even their basic snaps are a thousand times better than some of the fab photographers offering their wares

It's not my job but I love taking photos, especially portraits. I don't think I'd ever offer it to someone I've not met before for obvious reasons, I think it comes across a bit creepy. Unless it's something they were actually asking for of course.

But if you're going to offer your photos should probably be better than a dark cock shot in the toilet on a flip phone

I’ve been approached a number of times by people asking if I would photograph them. Usually couples, and usually the Mrs likes the idea more than the Mr. However, when I point out what this actually means in reality rather than the fantasy, they change their mind. The conversation usually goes something like this:

Me: You do understand that if I come and photograph you naked or fucking each other, it means I will have very explicit and compromising photos of you both archived on my system. Having never met and not knowing each other at all, are you sure you are comfortable with this?

Them: Oh, yeh, hadn’t thought of that.

The only way to do this with people you don’t already have a lot of trust with is through a release agreement, which indemnifies the photographer and protects the models. Im yet to encounter anyone on this site who is prepared to do this.

If you used your camera but their memory card(s) would that be a workaround? I have modelled for a pro photographer (he wanted a non-traditional model obviously!) and I signed the form and showed him ID and the talking and trust that went on beforehand was epic.

And then guys on here with no shred of visible talent (unlike you) or a portfolio think their offer will be leapt on. It's madness.

no self respecting photographer would let someone else walk away with the raw images on their memory card lots of ways they can then do reputational damage with poor editing and publishing of images . i only ever allow models to edit low quality jpeg images themselves all with my watermark removed and the strict proviso that they allow me to view the image before they publish it anywhere and tag my photography name to it .seen some truly shocking re edits from models garish over saturated edits that look readers wives at best .

Yes of course. D'oh. That was a daft question of mine. "

It’s not a daft question, my lovely. I have in fact had that idea put to me by at least two couples. My excuse has been that they won’t have the memory card that my camera needs, and they are expensive to buy x

no sutch thing as a daft question as stated getting the right memory card can be expensive .i have to date worked with two couples from this site on shoots both shoots went well and they enjoyed them and the results .one of the females subsequently took up paid modeling very successfully i have worked with her a few times since .i dont bother responding to most posts seeking or offering shoots to many timewasters and dreamers .do respond to direct aproches

I am trying to organise a photo shoot for photographer both amateur and professionals.

This includes a garden venue and some ladies who enjoy being photographed.

Anyone know how to go about it?

Are you looking for photographers or models?

I’ve had many “amateur photographers” offer their services and I’ve always doubted their motives and if I could trust them. So I always refuse same with so called masseurs. It’s so easy to steal content it’s just not worth the risk plus I think I’m a dab hand at my own photography skills haha

I've offered my services before, but it does come across sleazy in my experience

P. has done many shoots for cpls and singles. Once trust is built up there isn't a problem. He has a pro-spec DSLR. All images are edited prior to being sent back to the models. If he were to use any for his own purposes his reputation would be ruined.

this the biggest thing a pro or semipro photographer is their reputation one bad incedent can make models and studios block you from working with them .have seen this happen to many times to models photographers and studios once your reputation is damaged its all over .
