What's the difference between having sex with people for free... And paying for it? Apart from the obvious. 
Just wondering why some people think paying for sex is a bad thing, yet they have sex with strangers for free.
Why does money make it seedy? Surely sex with strangers can be considered pretty seedy too?
For meets on here, hotels may be paid for, wine etc may be bought. That involves money.

I personally do not have a problem with people who get paid or pay for sex. I have however in the past seen members of this site use it to advertise via chat cams for paying customers.
The difference for me personally over getting paid for sex would be this. I have choice and control over my sex life, I have sex with whomever I want. I think once money comes into the equation that would go out of the window. Am sure at some point or other people who get paid for sex would meet someone and have sex with someone they would not normally.
To me, I have total control and choice with regard to who I have sex with and how I have sex with them. It is given freely and with mutual enjoyment. |

Its easy them expenses for the meet are shared in a way ur doing this coz u like doing it and u also have rules about do and dont u have limits and not always ends up with sex
If u go and pay for sex u know ull pay for sex u will also chose some1 who does what ur not getting at home ) and like some1 said ur not sure if the one paied likes u or not!!! u just pay her/him for something that may or may not satisfy u ))

The guy I lived with previously used to pay for sex before I met him. He used to go and get exactly what he wanted, ie facials. But his attitude stunk with regard to the escorts he visited. He also stated the reason for visiting them before he met me was because to him it was guaranteeing sex, rather than taking someone out for a date and not getting a shag. Sex is a sensory and sensual experience for me, not just a mere exchange of fluids without attraction.
I am not against prostitution or those that use the services of a prostitute, but as for the street walker types I can't help but think that they are through circumstance rather than choice.
That saddens me as opposed to being something that sexually excites me.
Incidentally, 4 prostitutes were either raped or sexually assaulted within 2 hours of each other in Manchester the other night. Those girls take some major risks for whatever it is that keeps them out there night after night. |

Agreed. Whether its sex or even love you're seeking, you have to 'pay' the person you're seeking it from in some way. If you pay with cash, well that could be anyones, so theres no real achievement, whereas if you've 'paid' with your own attractiveness and personality, its a much greater sense of fulfillment, and you know that they're enjoying the experience as much themselves. |

The difference is choice.
Sex is a commodity when paid for. When we pay for anything we expect a certain service, we are paying to ensure that.
When we have a swinging meet we are doing so because we want fun, we want a night out etc. At any time we can decide not to go out, we don't have to justify it. We are in control the whole time. We can stop and go home at any time and we can decide what happens to our bodies.
When money changes hands it changes the dynamics. It becomes a transaction, a commodity, and that alone can make it impersonal, colder, people are there to earn money. Of course the person being paid for sex can say no, may have a choice, but like anything money becomes important, we need it, so we work to get it and we may accept things that we don't particularly like to get it.
a lot of us go to work for money. In our careers we've all had to do things we don't like, I've had to deal with lots of confrontation and abuse during my career which I've not liked but I've had to deal with it, I can't just go home when I feel like it, and this is no different.
When sex is paid for it loses the freedom of choice and becomes impersonal and a means to an end rather than a fun night out |

At the end of the day, we all have physical needs. For a guy, those needs are pretty easily satisfied. If a guy is looking to get those needs satisfied and can find a woman who is prepared to satisfy them, if money changes hands, what's the problem?
It's the basis of trade - and it's not called the Oldest Profession for nothing..
When 'I were a swinging ladd', I would have been reviled at the thought of ever paying for sex - like many I thought it 'mucky/tacky'. As I've got older, and maybe because the circumstances under which I may wish to avail myself of such services in the future (!!!), I now take a much more sanguined view of it. I don't see it as "seedy"
I just think it's nasty for women to abuse lonliness like that for a price, I also feel it's not nice to think of the men that have money to demean women like that, I don't know, I know I'm in te minority, but for me swinging as a lifestyle choice is about living free, escorting/prostitution is a cost |

Why is it degrading? Fair enough for someone that is forced into it against their will, that's a whole different issue.

You've expressed all of the problems with prostitution! Coersion for the prostitutes and the terrible dangers they sometimes face not being the least of them.
