I think tbf when I took it and got mediator INFP-T I was at my lowest (2018) so that explains my introvert. I was 60% introvert at that time. I retook it in August this year in the best mental place I’ve been in for years and I got Extrovert ENFP-T. |

I guess in 'the old days' we did the work teams thing by observation. Is there a type that's more beneficial for tinder? |

I can see the usefulness in a work situation. Is it ever misused? E.g. people intentionally answering to achieve a certain outcome? |

I would guess people try and match similar traits right? So extroverts will seek out extroverts. On tinder you don’t put your personality type name, just ENFP- J or whatever you are. So people can work out which traits you have. Seems pretty useful in theory but I don’t think tinder is a serious enough app for it . Maybe on hinge it would work better. |

I think I'd be wandering around on dating apps making an absolute cock up of it all. |

The thing I found with my mentor - who was specifically trained in more complicated versions of personality tests - is that some of the questions are wish fulfilment if you're not careful. People answer questions about what they think they're like or they want to believe they're like, not what they actually are like.
I wouldn't want to work with someone whose fantasies about themselves complement my fantasies about myself. |

Definitely an element of this. But that’s the thing- does anyone really know themselves? How can we ever know how we appear to others? And then you’re down the rabbit hole |

I guess an employer who depends entirely on this sort of thing might be in for a shock.

Quite a lot of firms now doing these types of things to get the balance of teams right and help people understand the strengths and weaknesses of their colleagues."
I don't think I'm in the sort of work where they'd need it..but if they or any future job asked it of me, I'd probably refuse to take it. Not at all sure I'd feel comfortable being judged on it in a work situation. |

Tends to be less about judgement and more about getting a balance. A bit like a football team I guess, if you had 11 Messi's and no goal keeper for example you nighr argue the balance of the team isn't quite right. |

I’m an extrovert according to my results. I hate clubs. I think that’s just me being order and grumpy though. |

Hmmm..maybe..
But in the back of my mind I'm thinking this is something they'd lightly entrust to AI during an application process... |

Loads of firms now have an online assessment as part of the early stage process for many jobs. Think it's here to stay. I worked for a firm where we also used handwriting analysis which was spookily accurate. |

Am a protagonist- ENFJ -
I used to be ENTP , but am definitely more feeling than thinking these days - the judging/perceiving was 49/51 now the other way , and the intuition/ observant also close
Extraverted has always been a contested concept - I prefer to think of it as more the way we externalise our thinking rather than do I run around a playroom waving my boxers in the air … on the other hand! |

Apparently I'm a Logistician but I'd like to clarify that the answer to most of the questions provided are essentially "it depends on the situation". I don't like the black and white nature of agree or disagree. |

An "assertive adventurer" allegedly.
66% introvert.
To quote the report
"Unassuming and humble, Adventurers tend to see themselves as “just doing their own thing,” so they may not even realize how remarkable they really are."
