Been watching it the qualifiers watched it every year for as long as can remember, I do miss the old presentation where it was always in exotic locations but can’t deny it’s became far more popular now |

I know who wins but wont spoil it for those who don't still watching though. Giving me the itch to compete again.
Good to see new guys coming through. Sad to see Shaw retire this year, Mark Felix also retiring at 57 is just insane.
Will be interesting to see how Thor fares on his return next year, I think he might struggle. |

"Glad stoltman has been knocked of his perch, his arrogance is not attractive.
I'm not sure it's arrogance, I think that you need to keep his Autism in mind when he's interviewed.
Cal"
Was going to say the same, I see no arrogance in his conduct. |

He’s class! And if you watch different you tube bit with him and his brother, there actually real funny chaps.
I’m a big fan and hope he carries on doing well. |

He's confirmed 3 competitions next year, now WSM yet, I think he may have a pop at it. |

Agreed. Given the amount of strutting around that the average strongman does, he is actually pretty modest.
And the YouTube stuff with his brother is really good.
I know a guy who used to compete as a strongman and he is way more cocky and boastful than stoltman, without any of the achievements to hack it up. Talks about nothing else but himself and his strength, tells packs of lies (easy to google results and see he didn’t even compete in events he claims he won), and a ton of excuses about why he can’t compete in the next event that he would have won, despite not actually competing in any events for years.
Compared to that, give me stoltman any day. |

Holding his finger up (I am number one) before an event had finished, the other athlete still carrying. The other guy then goes on to beat Stoltmans distance and win the event.Thats not the only example, and it's not Autism. |

… and the rest of them are a shy retiring modest bunch, I suppose!
As I posted earlier, I know a strongman competitor, nowhere near this level, and the ego and boasting of him and his mates is quite extraordinary.
Raising a finger? That’s nothing |
