Hi all, looking for a light fitting for the porch area at my daughters place, its very hard to get a power supply out-there, does anyone know of a battery powered light with PIR sensor that actually gives off a reasonable amount of light ?

I recently bought one from B&M, takes 4 of the D size batteries. I have it out the back, just in case!

Paper Town Central, Essex.

Many many out there.

If it receives plenty of light during daytime hours, consider a solar rechargeable one.

Anything you need to buy batteries for won't be good and you will end up not replacing the batteries and leaving the lights off.

There's usually a way to get wiring outside, you just need to talk to the right electrician. Otherwise go for solar and accept they aren't perfect.

We use solar lights outside and they work very well
