Ok, i never in my life had given this a thought, but last night the conversation was about double boiled kettles, to do with not sterilizing babies bottles if it was a double boiled kettle or some people wont make a cup of tea out of one. Also someone was saying she knows someone that has seperate kettles, one for tea and one for the babies.

I was always told not to use double boiled water for babies bottles.
I used to make a coffee leave the water to cool a lil then make a few bottles in one.
I do have a habit of filling the kettle up after ive used it. |

A dishwasher does the same thing as a steriliser. If the baby's bottles are microwavable they'll withstand a dishwasher too. The teats deteriorate over time anyway so they should be replaced every six months as a matter of course. |

It was just that id never heard of this double boil kettle thing. Its all new too me, but then it is 22 years since ive had a baby lol.
Oh and apparently they all have these muslim squares to put over there shoulder in case the baby is sick, what happened to good old fashioned tea towels lol |

have no idea, but two of my friends are going to be grandparents in july and they where both talking about these muslim squares, they must be the rage cause one of them got them from asda, id never heard of them |
