Can only seeing it be worse for folk on their own to be honest? "
Then an extension of the idea would be for singles it’s normal run of the mill pricing perhaps ! |

Serving staff don't want to be there themselves? Even on double time, unless they opt in?.. So, it's here's your plate without a smile. And no way are pubs gonna cut their mark up for Crimbo

If you're not looking forward to Crimbo alone OP, it's probs too late this year. But next year you can offer to volunteer at your local soup kitchen/food bank, and feel part of something. There's so much out there! Noone should feel alone come Christmas x |

At present. Alone for dinner on Christmas day. Have been invited to go out to female friend’s house late afternoon , evening. May not happen as her children have bad colds . So just have to wait and see on Christmas day if children are ok enough for me to visit. |

Over the years I’ve spent more Christmases on my own than I have in company.
Really doesn’t bother me, I work for 4 or 5 hours in the morning and then go home to a slow cooked dinner that’s ready the minute I walk in the door, whatever time I get there.

Alone. Child forsook me for their dad (I'm not doing presents this year as we went to Disney in Sept so child has gone where they will get presents!).
Was looking forward to some fun with a guy I've been chatting with. Recovering from a chest infection whilst raging horny. Not the best combo! |

Its only ever been me and bratz ... this year she's very independent but chose to spend this day together...can see the pull in other directions.
Its just a day .. we got not decs up she arrived late last night.
