a) Eat your favourites first and then tolerate the others at the end?
b) Eat the second rate ones first so you can enjoy your favourites at the end?
I am in one camp, B is in the other. He is so wrong. But which are you?

Paper Town Central, Essex. |
Red then green clear wrappers first.
Make 3d glasses from the wrappers.
Scoff the rest in any order whilst watching an old 3d film that I lost the glasses for.
Practicality first and foremost. |

Can't do that now. They are paper wrappers. |

"Okay order...
Green triangle
The purple one
Fudge
Caramel swirl
Choc block
Orange
Strawberry
Toffee stick
Toffee penny
Coconut
Coffee
"
Hmmm there would be Coconut ones left if we shared. Although you could have those and I'd have the coffees. Although we'd be full from scoffing the good ones first.
And B would be stuck with them because he chose...poorly.

"Pick them out without looking and just eat them - not having to share with anyone means I eat them all eventually anyway "
Eat your faves first and save the less good ones for when you're full or have visitors. I am a kind a generous person until chocolate.

"My solution is just buy Celebrations instead then it doesn't matter
Maltesers go first!
Our similarities mean we probably shouldn't ever share chocolate
J"
There might be a fight!
Chocolate wrappers everywhere! |

Same question. Or you're gonna get stuck with the Bountys
J
Oi Bounty is lush "
Do you also like a Twix? Above say Maltesers, Mars, Snickers, Galaxy and Galaxy Caramel?

My mum used to give the strawberry cremes to the dog and they’re my favourite
I started to hide them then but the dog kept giving me “puppy eyes” so I shared them with him
Ps. I prefer Roses but this year bought Cadbury chunks instead |

For me it's all about knowing your field. Eat the ones they like first and then you'll have more left for yourself |

Wherever I lay my hat |
As a vegan I wouldn't touch any of them if you paid me. But in a past life I would have snarfed the big pure ones, green triangles and those orange ones and left the rest for anyone else that wasn't as quick as me |

1. Hide them on top of the fridge where the kids can't reach them.
2. Pretend not to notice them standing on a chair to reach them/be busy having grown up time in bed so I don't see them.
3. Eat whatever's left |

"Is this my tin or a communal tin?
That vastly affects the strategy employed "
I would like to hear both strategies. Although I don't know that my strategy for a solo tin would be so different except I'd mix up between my top 5 rather than always going for my favourite available.

If it's mine, save the best til last. If its communal, have the favourites first. If we have shared favourites I don't want to miss out on them entirely.
Saving the best til last is my preferred approach, meaning that it only gets better as the supplies get lower. But if someone else is eating them too they might eat all of my favourites while I'm still grinding through the mediocre options. |

I would on the whole agree. It depends on how greedy I'm being. I don't want to be getting to my favourites just as I'm starting to feel sick

I’m in the ‘blind test’ camp…. Just reach in and whatever you pull out you eat. There aren’t any within the tin that I don’t eat so they’re all deliciously edible |

"Chuck 'em in the bin and replace it with the Celebrations tub
Same question, see my reply to Grumpy above. No one wants to be stuck with all the Bountys
J"
I like Bounties
Also, I don't really go in any order but just have the ones I fancy at the time. The Mars and Milky Ways tend to be the last though |

I don't buy them any more because I object to them including the ones which I don't like!
If given any, I will pass them down the gift chain and wonder how many times they have been previously gifted. |
