Alien ok the best part being Sigourney in tiny knickers.

3 and resurrection are OK but Prometheus bored me. Never seen Covenant.

Paper Town Central, Essex.

Alien.

One of the first and best films recorder in surround sound.

Saw it on a system at a mates and the part where they're looking for jonesey the cat. The chains, water dripping, jonesey meawing and the alien claws coming from behind you.

All always remember that film for its sound quality..

Should've been 'Game over man, game over'

Aliens then alien, I didn't mind 3 as I liked the actors, a lot of British actors that you'd never think they'd do an alien film. I liked 4 for Ron Perlman.

Alien amazing classic

Aliens an example of a sequel being just as good if not better than the original but watch the directors cut.

Alien 3 I have grown to appreciate after finding out the issues in preproduction again the directors cut is the way to watch this one.

Alien Resurrection this one is watchable till the final monster

Prometheus & Alien: Covenant as much as it pains me to say this but Ridley Scott has lost his touch did not enjoy these film.

Also bitter that because they made these films we never got Neill Blomkamp aliens sequel.

I have to say I agree with the consensus.

Alien was a game changing film. John Hurt's exploding chest is a cinematic classic.

Aliens is a great action movie.

Aliens v Predator was when the concept jumped the shark and everything after that is lesser derivative work.

Despite the AVP films not being great there's a lot of good stuff in that particular franchise. Comics, video games etc

Sunniest Exeter...

Game wise, I found that Alien, Dark Descent wonderfully recreated the atmosphere and tension of Aliens, (including the full on firefights and Sentry Guns ammo ticking down)

Made all the better knowing the rest of the cast were not aware how graphic the scene was going to be so thier reactions more genuine.

Secret hideaway in the pennines

The original was a masterpiece in suspense, but by far the best has to be Aliens, one of the best sci-fi action films made.

The franchise should have finished with 3, everything after that was dross

"Dunno, no such thing as alien life so don't care much "

Why even comment then?

But actually can you prove that alien life doesn't exist for definite?

There's over 100 billion stars just in our milky way galaxy each of those stars has it's own solar system containing planets. That's one galaxy

In the observable universe there's approximately 2 TRILLION galaxies.

Do the math the chances of no life existing anywhere else is infinitely small.

Or do you deny the existence of space and other planets?

Anyone read the Alien 3 novel by William Gibson?

It's the novelization of Gibson's original screenplay for the movie and differs greatly from what was eventually filmed.

Hicks features heavily as does Newt, and is more about them with Ripley as more of a supporting character.

It's worth a read.
