Why? He’s a top 5 heavyweight, possibly top 3. Plus some of the best fighters in their divisions are fighting on the same card and I think it’s well worth the money. |

I’m going to watch the card very much looking forward to it.
AJ has been way off lately verging on the bizarre. I am not sure if he comes through this test a fight with Wilder is a good idea. The way that guy hits after all.
Got a soft spot for Dubois so looking forward to that one the most. Although someone needs to him Saudi is not part of Africa he just made himself look very silly in an interview |

Don’t let common sense get on the way of some AJ bashing.
You’re so sensible these days, I don’t even recognise you. |

I think the card is insane especially if you like a HW dust up.
Well worth it. |

It's pretty well documented that the heavyweight division is a little poor at present. We just need to see the fights that matter and they centre around the circus that is Fury.
I can't help but like the guy and he gets results but fuck me has he dragged boxing down to the depths with a pantomime.
That said, you can't deny that the card is one of the best there has been for quite a while so it should be a good evening if boxing.
Dubois - "We are in Africa where we slaughter lambs" oh dear. |

Not sure how you've come to that conclusion, top 3, they don't fight each other in order to find out. |

I don’t watch as much boxing as I would like as I don’t have pay to view subscriptions but I think Joshua can win and then perhaps fight Wilder and if he were to win that then the winner of Fury / Usyk as say what you want about Joshua he seems to be someone that can fill a boxing arena and from what I read good pay per view subscriptions. |

I haven’t. He’s ranked top 3-5 in every single list I can find online. |

I think AJ beats Wilder if they face off. Younger man, less mileage, hasn't been beaten up by Fury 3 times, he hits almost as hard as Wilder & with more technique, so I believe he would land more on Wilder that Wilder on him over the course of 12 rounds. Obviously the only concern is will it go 12 rounds if he's caught clean by Wilder early on.
I always think back to the way Dillian White wobbled him in the fight they had years ago... |

"Also there's a big asterisk on everyone in the HW until we know if Francis Ngannou is going to give boxing a serious go or not. "
Francis gets embarrassed by any top 5 including Fury in a rematch. |

Might be recency bias but he didn't look too bad against the reigning HW champ in literally his first ever boxing match. He's not exactly going get worse with experience is he...
Either Ngannou's really that good, or the HW division is piss poor including Fury. |

Fury had already arranged his fight with Usyk for December. This alone shows he overlooked Francis. If he trained properly he could jab and move for the entirety of the fight rather than 98% of it. No disrespect to Francis. I’ve followed him since UFC and know he has power but he won’t beat a top 5, maybe a top 10 which is more than I can say for any boxer going into MMA. |

Won't beat a top 5? He literally should have been given the decision against the HW champion very very recently.
I his FIRST EVER boxing bout.
If the challenge was who has the best boxing skillet, of course he wouldn't, but it's a boxing match.
Don't forget too that with the heavyweights it literally only takes 1 punch and that's it, lights out, all out.
Especially when they have the freakish punching power Francis has.
I think anyone who honestly believes that he couldn't win any boxer on the planet is either on smack or a complete fantasist.
I do agree though that not a single boxer could after a couple of months even dream of beating an MMA fighter ranked inside the top 20 in an MMA fight, let alone top 5. |

If you believe he should have been given the decision then you don’t understand how boxing is scored and there’s no point even discussing it further. |

I'll be watching it in a pub, the two main events aren't too exiting (unless Joshua is on the slide and Wallin seizes his opportunity) but I think the Dubois match is interesting.
Boxing only has itself to blame for losing ground to UFC/MMA- the fights are there to be made but don't get done when they should be done.
Anyway, for a proper fight- Dec 26th at 9am Inoue v Tapales |

Im sorry, but being of a certain age, I've lost interest with a lot of todays sports, boxing..Ali,Frazier,Foreman,football..Celtic, Manchester United in the 70's. All great to watch. Sadly today's 'stars ' couldn't hold a candle to them. |

We all have an amazon stick to watch PPV
Well done Parker but shame as would have loved to have seen Wilder AJ but I think that's a long shot now.
Parker 4 fights in 2023 ... that's what boxing is about rather than avoiding fights so fair play to him |

"What a performance from Parker
I expected more from Wilder. Can’t believe he had the cheek to even half heartedly hold his arms up as if he had won.
Total dominance from Parker. "
How much weight has Wilder dropped? Didn't look his best tonight and quite reserved |

Have to agree
Was it wilder that said his sponsors don’t want him to be beaten ?
Avoiding all the big fights that a serious boxer would take
Why is he even still talked about? |

It went the way all his fights do….throw a big right and hope for the best….he’s fucking awful!!!
Fury gave the blueprint and Parker followed it….in close and throw over hand shots….great fight from Parker!!
AJ will be in trouble with Wallin….he’s no mug!!
Parker has really dented the Hearn cash train |

Do you actually belive that? Or are you reminiscing about times when they got your more excited (which is totally reasonable) |

Well i contradicted myself and watched it on the dodgy stick
have to admit AJ boxed well, best ive seen him in years, but Wallin was dissapointing
But nowhere near as dissapointing as Wilder. Parker dominated the fight start to finish, how can Wilder think he won that |
