Surely everyone does?! Or at least some sort if game.

It's pictionary air this year, so much hilarity, slagging and drawing of air penises will be on the cards.

We play board games on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Not normally on Christmas Day.

Sitting on the table

It's got to be Trivial Pursuit or Monopoly.

As a kid, only Monopoly would get my attention away from video games.

We don't any more. Grandchildren stopped being interested in games years ago.

A few years ago a few of us played Yahtzee on Boxing day but now the babies are here we don't get free time to play anything.

I think we played Trivial Pursuit once. It didn't go well.

We're old school and like to spend the day semicomatose trying to keep our blood sugar at close to danger levels

We didnt play board games at xmas but we played with dominoes instead.

With a kitty of cash in an ash tray only 2ps, it was fun with small hands and trying to hold 9 dominoes.

Lancashire dominoes is double 9s not yorkshire 6s

The illusion of that one is you saved your 2ps for the domino game just to win the game and was great fun at xmas time.

Guests was welcome to play and we had well over 10 players all they needed was 2ps to play the game.

I love trivial pursuit but I'm banned from monopoly (stupid, hateful game).

No one will play me at scrabble (or boggle) because I'm practically unbeatable.

LINKEE is a great game, as is Articulate!

Scrabble of course - although not the strip version!

Jigsaws are great as you can dip in and out between the food.

By the time I actually get to sit down on Christmas Day after doing everything and all the cooking the last thing I'd want to do is play a board game!

Boxing Day however: Operation,Jenga,Guess Who,Monopoly,Hungry Hippos,Twister and Buckaroo!

Monopoly, Hungry Hungry hippos and Buckaroo!

Once me and my cousins played Buckaroo with my gran at Christmas. Literally. She was asleep on a chair and we kept putting jackets on her till she was disturbed.

We've started doing this recently and bought a board game each year. We've done Jumanji, Cluedo, The Chase and Jenga (technically not a board game). We're debating which one we need this year.

We dig out the awful green things from outer space every year. Played it every year since 1984. Its daft and everyone loves it - especially after a couple of drinks.

Yep, at my parents usually someone would have been bought a new game that would get played. But Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Cluedo and card games were regulars too.

I'm hosting a festive wine cheese and games night tomorrow night. Can't wait!
