I am now going to get my living room Decorated and i find it really hard to think what colour/s would go with a Dark Read Leather Couch .

Then a Memory came into my head ( Friend said on a night out ) look at Black Woman Don't you think Chocolate and Red go really well. Just Natural. What do other forum members think colours Match

I'm hopeless at colour matching but I do think that darker colours would go with the sofa you describe.

Boo's World

Depends on the size of the room, decorate it too dark and you'll regret it when the lights have to be on all day and night.

Possibly on a feature wall.. but if you're gonna paint all the walls, stop NOW!

A guy i know painted walls purple. Room was dark even with lights on.. perhaps a hint of brown in white paint

Light neutral walls in a warm tone with a clashing feature wall behind the sofa for an eclectic, luxe look.

As funny as it sounds... grey with pastel yellow, Pink or shades of pink or purple perhaps?

I dunno, it's personal preference & subjectivity...

Dark blue? Then golds or yellows - thinking mirror frames perhaps.

Had a friend who painted her living room human blood red. But if you have a red couch it might disappear totally.

Just not grey. When I was buying a house I think pretty much every single house i viewed had a grey colour scheme running through it.

If a room is already dark and smallish then go with it with dark colours!

Go for a matt white.

Then use coloured lighting to get whatever mood suits you.

Accentuate with large houseplants.

No one has any comments on that? I wonder if Dulux do a skin tone paint chart?

Try the Canva colour wheel - it'll make suggestions for colour schemes.

Beiges are coming back in, in general: just don't go with the really rich beiges of the 90s
