Give him some antihistamine, it helps stop the itching. Bless him, I remember having this as a child .... not nice.

i thought my daughter had it, but turned out to be a heat rash. But ive now heard there is hand, foot & mouth going around aswell as chicken pox. So keeping a close eye on it. NHS Direct werent too worried as she still eats like a horse an is full of beans

Piriton, it is in liquid form for kids as well as tablets. Doctors often recommend it for chickenpox sufferers as it can also make them drowsy helping them to sleep through the night as well as relieving the itching. xx

Cover them in calamine lotion aswell which reduces the itch a bit. Only thing is they walk around looking like Casper the ghost

Get some rhus tox. Its like a herbal tablet, i got it for my son when he was a toddler and it stops the itching. Theyre tiny little round balls so easy to swallow

Better getting it as a kid than an adult, I had it when I was 17 it was eveywhere from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet even just around my eyes which made my eyes blood shot, it's a horriable disease he has my sympathy.

Deviant City

Calamine lotion and piriton syrup.

My son has still not had chicken pox, he's nearly 14 and I'm petrified he'll get it when he's older and get shingles.
