The Town by The Cross

Where they lived there are small villages and quite a few very isolated single dwellings.

No electricity, no conformity to societal rules etc.

Attracts drifters, off gridders n some druggies apparently as well as those who want to live more naturally and without the stresses this society imposes.

I guess we all make our children live the lifestyle we want.

An alternative lifestyle to me means different to house, job, relationship, 2.4 children.

Does 'spiritual commune' mean cult?

He had no education and moved location every 6 - 8 weeks. Not a very stable childhood.

He's going to find it hard to settle back into life here.

Their is no right way to live its all about a balance but we also need stability especially where children are concerned they are forming and learning, they know what they like and don't like

Apparently not in his case.... seems that there was a lack of conformity and no leader but I only read the early burblings of someone on a slow newsday.

There’s a similar place in the Australian bush called Nimbin. There are sone really nice communes but it also attracts druggies and criminals. You also realise after a while they do still need money and the way they make it usually involves crime.
