Where they lived there are small villages and quite a few very isolated single dwellings.
No electricity, no conformity to societal rules etc.
Attracts drifters, off gridders n some druggies apparently as well as those who want to live more naturally and without the stresses this society imposes.

There’s a similar place in the Australian bush called Nimbin. There are sone really nice communes but it also attracts druggies and criminals. You also realise after a while they do still need money and the way they make it usually involves crime. |
