"do you find sometimes that when people post for advice on here, no matter what answers people suggest the OP's put different hurdles in place?" At times yes. But sometimes maybe the OP hadnt thought the original post through?

"Usually because 8/10 times they are are just plain and simple 'look at me' threads!so what constitutes a look at me thread, in my opinion they all are, of sorts."
The ones that start of saying 'look at my profile' obviously. |

"Does that mean people should just stop posting????"
Wot no forums
If people feel the need to ask for advice, then they should either heed or acknowledge it, or state their case for not implementing any suggested improvements |

Some people are not very good in thinking for themselves, and need to have their hands held all the time.
I give advice when I believe I know enough of the subject matter to be able to help.
It is up to the person seeking advice whether to take my advice or not.
It is no skin off my nose if he/she does not take my advice.
However, I don't expect to be asked for the same advice twice, as I have a long memory. |
