I made chilli bean nachos. My chilli has onion, garlic, red pepper, red kidney beans, chopped tomato and soya mince. Served on chilli Doritos with grated cheese, salsa, guacamole and sour cream and chive dips.
Yum |

Tonight was not a good night with my mum who has vascular dementia and athrites in both knees leaving her virtually wheelchair bound, so after we got mum done and dusted it was a simple breaded chicken, chips and peas, but I'll make up for it tomorrow with smoked haddock and lobster macaroni cheese washed down with a Campo Viejo white Rioja as it's fish Friday tomorrow. |

Ah sometimes other things take priority. Frozen peas are underrated, love them! Lobster mac and a nice white Rioja sounds like a winner for tomorrow too |

"I started a Slow cooked Beef Stew at 06:00 this morning, served at 18:00.
Trouble is, I was not hungry at all after work
"
Ahh hate when that happens, but at least a stew is better the next day reheated :D |

Ah I love those little traditions
Thursdays at my parents house are fresh salad and deli treat days as it's the supermarket shop day |

I have just had cheese and biscuits with our own pickled cucumbers and leeks and fresh onion (all grown on the farm) - our own bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar - finished off with chocolate truffles with our own dried chilli and Lime in the ganache. All washed down with home made mulberry wine. Delicious xx |
