Do you ever use a name that’s not yours on your take away cup when they ask what name to write on it?

If so what?

I've only been asked once on a rare visit to Tunbridge Wells. I was so surprised I forgot my own name for a minute.

"I've only been asked once on a rare visit to Tunbridge Wells. I was so surprised I forgot my own name for a minute."

"Marjorie-Mildred" would hardly fit around the side of a venti take-away coffee cup anyway. I'm not surprised you forgot your double-barrelled name.

Yes, I tell them DLFS as my name. I laugh internally when they call out DLFS, as if the entire coffee shop knows what it stands for.

Rare that I get asked name even if it’s the chain that write on the cups. They usually shout what it is sort of thing.

Did anyone catch OP's name before they left?

I'm usually always Amy. I don't even bother anymore with my real name because nobody understands.

I just don’t answer or get my cup.

I’m that desperate to hear a woman scream my name out.

Face it, these Baristas are not the brightest button in the box...

My nieces' WhatsApp pic is a Starbucks cup with "Lorra" instead of Laura and NYC Stand Up comedian Matteo Lane jokes about having "Potato" on his cup...
