I refused to serve him as a teenager when working in a concert hall restaurant bc it was too close to closing. I got a real telling off for it.

Born in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. Although Mexborough has a Sheffield postcode, it comes under Doncaster Council area so I include him in my list of famous Doncastrians (alongside myself of course  )

His acting in Henry V where he delivers the ultimatum to the French king is superb. He may be best known for shouting, but that scene really shows how good an actor he can be. It's on Youtube under 'Armoured Ultimatum'.
There's a rumour Blessed is wearing his own suit of armour in this scene and didn't need props to find him one. I believe it.  |

Read one of his autobiographies amazing he's done so much in his life.
Favourite BB moment an outake from a quiz show he was on the prize was a palm pilot he fluffed his lines a few times and in typical Brian fashion exclaimed

I like him. Fun fact, he was a villain in the first episode of The Sweeney, and put in a very toned down (from his usual) performance, which was all the better for that. |
