I have lists which need to be ticked off but mostly all set. It's a very quiet affair for us nowadays and our gift list is tiny.
My biggest dread is queuing at the post office tomorrow with a package and my overseas cards (I know they won't get there in time, I'm the same every damn year) |

The queue this morning was so bad. All I wanted was few stamps for a small no of cards I still do these days. |

Fed up with it all now. I've 4 kids. I've spent years running myself into a worrying wreck, trying to provide, finding ways to provide extra, the big dinners and endless buffets. Slogging myself down, shopping, wrapping, cooking ect.... while everyone else gathers together in the living room having a nice time. I've stood in that kitchen crying Christmas day and hid it. They are all growing up, one left home now. I'm not doing it this year. We are heading to sunnier climates on the 29th, which cost a bomb. I've set a 5 prezzie rule for Christmas day and I'll be making sure everyone else pulls their weight. I've had very little thanks over the years so I'm done. I'm gunna sit with my feet up in a 5* hotel for 2 weeks and enjoy every moment!!!

I think I'm going to use the pick up service and get the post person to come to me.
I've just been to Tesco where all the staff and security people think you're a shoplifter. |

"Is everyone set for it or are you pissed off with it all already
When is it this year?
They've changed it. It's 25th. "
Ahh, the day before Boxing Day! Sounds a bit convenient! |

I’m pretty much over it now. I’ve tried to be as cheerful as I can for the sake of my little one, but it’s becoming too difficult to maintain it. The money worries dominate life here at the continental. |
