I would use the word moist without much thought. Beautiful word, which I find so therapeutic and onomatopoeic

I’d only use the word clunge to wind someone up who didn’t like it

Clunge for sure though unlike some neither bother me per se. Moist is a bigger trigger for people in my experience.
