Bungling immigration officers are threatening to deport a French lady who has lived here for over 40 years and has run a fish and chip shop for much of this time. Her 'crime' was uncovered when she returned from a break in France and was detained. Now Tom is no big fan of the French but he believes in justice. Let this Frenchie stay. What's going on here guys? It's all over the news. |

She's paid into the UK system all her life and ran a business for many years, claiming old age pension(like she is entitled too) but that not enough. Unfortunately, she didn't reply to the email quick enough, and no one realised it was in her junk mail.
Poor lady and her family, I hope it gets sorted soon for her. |
