I've had people message me this before having a go at me for not being inclusive.
Either the message was shit or I couldn't be bothered and got distracted at the time.

I usually like to reply to evyryone but then it feels like you take over the whole thread. I just reply randomly or to something that may have asked. If I also see that someone has been ignored or noone posts on the thread they started, I might, if comfortable with the topic. Not nice to be excluded but it does not bother me.  |

I don't take much notice. Mostly because I'll post then leave the thread and forget to go back.
I've probably overlooked people, or not responded to everyone because there's lots of posts to reply to and some get missed.
Sometimes I give up replying because it feels like I'm spamming my own thread.

Doesn't bother me either but in any social situation if I pick up that someone doesn't want to interact with me I won't waste my time of theirs. I'm not needy like that. |

I've thought it previously, but then just think we all have preferences.
I've not been offended by it
I've probably been guilty of it in the past. Hopefully I've mot offended anyone if I have done it.

I don't care. Sometimes won't even notice as I might not revisit the thread.
And I don't man my own threads enough to have a leg to stand on complaining about it anyway.

I really don’t think that much about it and also if I’m honest if people don’t reply or ignore me I don’t care. There’s enough going on in the world or my corner of it without worrying about that |

Yes - There is one person who does this to me 
I'm not sure why they don't like me, or what i did to offend.. But I'm not blocked, so perhaps they just don't like my chirpy, chipper replies  I just try to avoid their threads. |

I've learned to avoid certain threads too....In some cases it's like school playground behaviour tbh....I just do my best not to 'cross paths' with certain people....it's just 1 or 2 anyway so it's no big deal ....says alot more about them then me  |

It's mildly annoying but I don't lose sleep over it.
You can't be everywhere at once.
If it happens too often, I take the hint and block them. I'd prefer an honest PM though. I'm a big boy and I can take it. |

If I wrote one of the first comments and they replied to everyone before and after me, I'd think they either don't really like me or they didn't know how to reply to me. If it happened with the same person a few times, I would come to the conclusion they don't like me. Which would be unfortunate, especially if you've found their threads interesting, but not everyone has to like everyone and it can be based on anything |

Oh Oooooops, I answered it wrong, sorry didn't read the op right.
In answer to the question, they reply to everybody else and skips you is because you've pissed them off over something or they don't like you for another reason, maybe they don't like you're contributions on the forums or they have you blocked already maybe and so they're not going to reply to you anyway. |

It's a big commitment to reply to everybody, I don't think it's necessary. I'd just reply generally and say something like, appreciate all your replies, that covers everyone then!! |

I was unaware of the etiquette of being OP here.
I post to get people’s opinions as part of my learning process.
If I have something to add, then I do. It never occurred to me that the OP needs to thank/reply to my post.
I tend to give a general thank you to all that contributed.
To me it doesn’t matter if I agree or disagree with what they post. It’s good to get people’s views. Keep an open mind.
Then you have people that answer in a serious manner or with humour. Both are welcome.
I must say reading these discussions here have helped me a lot in understanding the fab and swinging lifestyle.
So thanks all you folks for enriching our discussion. |

No. I mean sometimes it might be because they think I'm a twunt and that's fair enough. Other times? Well I can only think of one poster who replies to everyone and with the same energy (I'm discounting lacklustre replies with zero effort).
I don't expect people to man their threads. I don't with mine. So I don't really think too much about it. |

No, sometimes it makes me chuckle though. I remember 1 thread where the op said that nobody says good morning anymore. So I jumped on and said good morning and noticed that the op was only replying to women
It's all good though, I make my comments when it suits me to threads I have an interest in and don't expect any replies |

Am new to the forums and while I agree that it feels like good manners to reply to a thread it doesn’t bother me to be overlooked. While I enjoy attention, I am not desperately seeking it.
