Mostly because it’s funny and full of interesting snippets of peoples thoughts.
Also because I can talk freely here compared to the more uptight areas of the internet.
I do give it up now and then, sometimes I flick through and just aren’t interested. Then I move over to Reddit for a bit til I’m bored and return. |

I am here because I can pass the time here and some of the people are interesting/fun. Not enough of them but I can easily overlook the unpleasant ones.

Because I like reading the myriad of thoughts. Utter bollocks or an interesting insight, it's fascinating. And sometimes I meet brilliant people on here and I think, yeah I'll stick around here. There are good people about. |

It's a bit like a zoo visit. You've been, you've seen it all.. yet at times it feels like yeah okay, it's been a while, let's pop in again.

I enjoy them for sure but sometimes I comment and sometimes I don't go on them at all. Depends on my mood, I could definitely give them up if I wanted to. |

There was a second question! Eek. Yes I could easily give it up. Breaks are usually very spontaneous and the longer they get, the less I remember it exists. If I didn't continue friendships from here in the outside world I'd probably not have a reason to look at it all, but mentions of fab happen and eventually I give in and come back
In short - I'm grateful that I am not fab codependent. That's a bit sad in my view, when you need to live and breathe the place to feel happy in yourself.

I like a few of the people here, tolerate the majority of the rest. I like the chaos of it all. It's a great pass time when life is slow.
It is entertaining as fuck watching the wheel turn for a while before it gets stale so self inflicted time outs are needed.
It is an easy option when bored, which is why that whenever I have left I tend to return again eventually. |

I think I've always craved communication with others, I enjoy the forums because there's usually quite a good mix of conversations and it's generally a friendly place.
I tend to feel a bit like I'm on the outside looking in, but I bet loads of folks feel like that. It's a bit like visiting a new pub, good fun but hard to become a local  |

Because the site became un useful so I had to find another use for it
And I have stuck around
I did try the forums way back but different people my spelling didn’t go over well
Spent years just useing the site as a “sex site”
Covid hit and I had no use for the site instead off deleting profile I decided I would give the forums another go and just stuck around

Sometimes I could bring down the cost of my text conversation by dollars (Australia) - yes, actual dollars! - if I condensed my words. (texts were 50c a pop. I had shit to say. If I eliminated vowels and u2 cld use numbrs 2 m8, I could say a lot more! |
