"I get men doing this, on here. Like why? Why can't you just block me? Where's their logic? "
It stops them from unblocking you at 2am and making bad message decisions... dunno if that is logic, but it seems handy!

I just tried and accidentally pressed the Hide All Site Images, now everyone has a Crimbo name I haven't remembered and the same haircut, @admin help

I’ve had this. I had ninja mode off like a fool and this guy texted me asking did I want to have fun. I generally reply to guys “no thank you, flattered though. Hope you find what you looking for”
This time i looked at the message but didn’t have time to reply, I was planning to eventually. Anyway he scolded me for having the audacity of looking at his profile and not responding to his text and told me to block him.
I don’t even remember looking at his profile tbh but so what if I did. |

Not that i know of i have been asked not to make contact anymore but looking back i can see why as i was a little bit insane for a while i can see now how that could have been overwhelming altho i was blind to all things but my loss at the time |

For some reason I cannot fathom I decided to block myself after reading this. Which didn’t work.
Then I messaged myself and no matter how many times I read it I still have the 1 unread message from myself.

Yes, mainly from men messaging our couples profile. Cut and paste cliched generic replies telling us how our pics are the hottest on Fab... blah... blah... blah... but then requesting we block them if we not interested.
We just delete. |

An ex asked me and this was his reasoning. He was an ex due to his poor impulse control so it made sense. |

I had this where a guy asked me to block him as seeing me was driving him crazy (I'm no oil painting). So I obliged and then, bugger me he comes back with a new profile and pretends to be someone else |

No but I have had someone tell me they were going to block me after chatting for a while because they didn't think we were compatible and it would stop me coming up in searches again.
It was all very polite and civilised and we met at a social a long time later and I'm now unblocked |

Sometimes but not often. My profile says "feel free to block me if I'm not your type" so that probably cuts it down. I sometimes block people if I'm not their type (bi, trans, fat, hairy etc.) mostly because I have a terrible memory and don't want to accidentally annoy people who aren't interested  |

I've been the one asking someone to block me. I don't want to see updates, pictures etc coming onto my feed or whatever, so I asked them to block. That way I see NOTHING except the odd forum comment, which is fair enough. |
