Top..

..in my teens I was on remand sharing a cell..the kid I was sharing with was on the top..he seemed to spend the whole time wanking.. which was incredibly annoying ..soon as he moved out I got the top..and newbie had the bottom...I didn't do too much wanking..

I've been top and bottom bunk.

I didn't like the top bunk because I'd be near the ceiling spiders.

On a residential trip as a kid I was on the bottom bunk. The boy above was stirring and making funny noises. I popped my head out and looked up to see what was going on. At that very point he was sick right on top of my face.

After that it was top bunk every time. The extra effort getting in and out is worth it for the security of height and not being down stream of any fluids from the bunk above.
