One is the worst one and I’d happily skip it nowadays.
But I watch them, I’ve done this marathons twice now.
My favourite is prisoner of Azkaban. It gets good from there on in. |

"Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite but they’re all good from Goblet onwards "
See I feel the opposite. They lose all sense of fun and wonder and just get really dreary until you end up with “Three go on a miserable camping holiday in the rain”. |

I think that’s what the series does well (better than LoR in fact) - the gradual darkening of the story until I is all rather bleak, and the fun and wonder has gone. As Voldemort gets stronger this is appropriate and very well done. |

Struggle with them after the first three. They seem to lose their fun element and get longer and longer.
Have always thought Harry himself isn't that great a wizard for being the hero. A Drago centred storyline filled with darkness could've been amazing. |

The first one is great for getting people into the magic but I loved The Prisoner of Azkaban. It just took a slightly darker turn with the humour to match and loved it |

Add me to that list.
Don't understand the appeal. I would say it's age, but I remember when they came out & people the same age as me really getting into them.
Same with Pokemon, but at least that's a video game so I kind of get it. |

I find the films quite annoying. Just slow and boring between the special effects. Haven’t actually made the end of any of them without a couple of naps.
The books on the other hand I really enjoyed. |

I've not seen any of the films but K has read all the books, seen all the films and would probably do well if it was her specialist subject on Mastermind.
I think I'm going to make an effort to watch them. |

I'm pleased to admit I've not seen any of them... and I intend to keep it that way.. " . Ditto never seen any of them nor any of the Star Wars films and other films about stuff that never happened, I might binge watch the World at War (all 26episodes) which will get me in the mood to watch “dam busters” for the 85th time |

I watched the 3rd one yesterday, the prisoner of azkaban, the bus ride was fun and also how he met sirius black, his godfather, to prove his innocence, he treats harry likes his son as well |

Somehow I haven't seen most of them. I watched one and two when they first came out, but since then, nada. I don't even hate HP, I've read all the books and enjoyed them. Not sure how I've managed that |

"Is it awful to admit I’ve not seen any of them? "
No. I've only seen 1 & 2 and that was due to peer pressure and a little curiosity. I have never felt any urge to rematch them or complete the series. Definitely didn't live up to the hype for me. |

"I’ve been given the whole collection and told to binge watch , only complete series I’ve ever done like this was breaking bad!"
Omg. Breaking Bad season 1 I smashed in a night. HP does not compare in the slightest. |

No the first 2 don't. It takes on a darker more adult tone from the third with the inclusion of dementors.
That being said the books of course are much better! |

I haven't read the books, I bet they are so much better.
Are the films like the books I wonder are they faithful to the source material?
My franchise MR Bond has not followed the books since OHMSS, and imo there are only 3 films that kept to the source material in the franchise, which made me wonder if HP keeps to the story of the books, or are the films different in some way. |

Noooooooooo!
Have you read them........??
Even as an adult they are definitely definitely worth a read
But I think to watch my favourite is goblet of fire, although I don't think they did the wizarding world cup justice, but then I think it was probably a tricky one to do just right. |

"I am now watching the half blood prince " It was fun when ron got the love potion and then how harry was trying to help dumbledore, it seems that snape was the blood prince and it was quite sad what happen to dumbledore in the end as he fell down from the tower, harry then stood with the others ready for the next adventure |
