"No, do I need to Google this?"
I'm not sure how it works but Cadbury advertise that you can send a bar of chocolate secretly to someone. It seems you need to see one of their posters which apparently are popping up all over the country.
I've never seen one |

Not sure about a few years ago but this year if you find a poster you scan the QR code and send a Bar of chocolate for free.
If you would prefer to pay. Cadburys offer the same service on their website for a fee. |

I googled. You can do it online and don't need a poster, the postal service seems to be free.
I was a little confused at one part though ...
Max 1 bar per mobile number. Max 5 per household. If you abuse the system by participating multiple times, use a fraudulent mobile number or send more than 3 free bars to the same postal address, you can be get blocked. There’s a 10 minute limit to complete ordering your free bar before the page will expire.
So 5 per household but more than 3 gets a ban....am I tired and reading that wrong? |

I don't really want to do it. I just wondered how it worked and if many people had done it |

"Ever seen one of the Cadbury's secret Santa poster and sent a bar to someone?
A few years ago and they received it.
Did you have to pay?"

"Do they mean send 3 from the same mobile number?
I'm hopeless at interpreting these ambiguous instructions. "
I interpret that as a house can send 5 bars.
But only 3 can be sent to any single address by that house. |

Worth a look
Saw posters on cardboard stands in different supermarkets. If it’s as easy a QR code then get the website as a different tab and fill in later once finished shopping.

If it was better chocolate I might but it's a bit crap and I know it's just a profit thing. They did the same for easer with eggs being put in random places, all I could think was of the number of lost eggs getting eaten by animals |
