I often base what I say on the hope that I'll never get a meet or attention from certain women.
Anyone paying the slightest attention to my forum contributions will acknowledge that I'm not afraid to point out that the emperor or empress is actually naked while others are admiring their new clothes.
I don't "say it as it is" either because that usually involves aggression or an "I'm a cunt, deal with it!" attitude.

I think moderated yes. Not just on here but on all online forums. On here especially the risk of saying the wrong thing and experiencing a ‘FAB pile on’ is too great and would could ruin a persons chances. |

I make the same point as a woman in a discussion, it'll always be the woman the guy will quote. However I’m fine with it as I understand the reason we are all on here, it’s to try and meet someone who we find attractive. So if the guy is trying to get her attention, no problem. |

If I'm out in the real world and someone is unpleasant, that's also a great filter. I'll make a mental note and alter my interactions accordingly, even if there was never any possibility of clothes being taken off. |

You can tell by the fact if you ever disagree over the forums, they tend to block you even if you haven't ever spoken directly to them..

I’ve thought twice about posting things not for reduced chances of meeting as truly couldn’t care less, but to avoid the backlash or getting banned, I once dared to mention I disliked Gemma Collins and the fact at the time there was a news article about her every time she lost 500grams and fuck me the backlash made me think fuck that I’ll keep it to myself next time haha |

Largely this ^ and what Steph TV has said about guys quoting women. There are a few White Knights who gallop around for good measure but to me they stand out a fair bit and it probably isn't just me that notices.
I'll shoot from the hip, try not to jump on a bandwagon and generally keep it lighthearted not attempting to cause offense. Have I got it right all the time? Nope. Probably had a bad day the other day and attempted Fabicide. Will I get it wrong again sometimes? Yep, no doubt.
But I won't auto correct and sell my soul by not being 'me' to the forum in the remote chance I attract the attentions of Brenda from Devon. |

Oh massively, my general feel is some of the men on the forums side with women on all threads as that's who they are naturally trying to impress.

You can tell by the fact if you ever disagree over the forums, they tend to block you even if you haven't ever spoken directly to them..

I've disagreed with women on particular forum topics and had other women send me facepics and other personal info on them to use either as "ammunition" or so I can see the "type" of person I'm dealing with.
I hasten to add that all these women are forum buddies and are always bigging each other up in public.
I also hasten to add that I don't know them and have never even so much as chatted to them.
I commented on a thread once on this subject to say that of all the others posting on the thread at that point I had met 6 of them but only knew one by their real name. I had however been provided with the names, faces and places of work of 2 others on the thread that I had never met or chatted to. |

You assume it would be forum only members, these groups are generally gender exclusive and include many not part of the forum. In fact forum members are likely the minority. It is more club based than anything.
The clique thing is less of a clique and more 7 degrees of separation. |

I've recently considered having one of those profiles which state "Not looking to meet anyone but will chat to someone exceptional"
They must be among the most productive, due to the challenge involved.
I like being a forum user more than being a meet seeker - there are far better sites for finding nookie - and I don't give a toss whether what I comment on affects my chances. I have already alienated myself from a huge sector through being a linguistic nit picker! |

I know it's awful but I genuinely think most men on here are absolutely full of it and will say anything to stand a chance with someone they fancy.
I do believe there are some genuine men... but they are very rare and past experience makes me doubt 99% of men on here. I allowed myself to get close to someone, but I see clearly now that it was all bullshit and I want more than that. |

It's a bit mad that people get so into a conversation like this.
It's the internet right? There's no surprises here for anyone.
Sure almost everyone wants to put their best foot forward and get a meet because it's a sex based matchmaking site but it's also anonymous and that will always bring out the worst in some people.
I've never had anything but a good time through fab. I say through fab because fab is the means, not the end, to meeting great people and I've already made great friends and found a community of people I like through the forums and the social events that I engage in.
Dramatic people will find drama wherever they go. Fab is no exception. |
