Spinoff from Pickle's thread about people being gross.
What's stuff you like for taking care of your hygiene, skin, hair, etc?
The other day I gave my hair a hot oil treatment with grapeseed oil and it feels fucking amazing with less shedding and breakage. |

"I drink water to hydrate my skin cells.
I occasionally do a foot peel treatment.
The Ordinary's glycolic acid (7% toning solution) is something I use on my feet - and/or sugar scrub"
I saw something about glycolic acid. The foot peel is ok but they peel for ages afterwards.
I have a couple of those battery operated foot sanders that are pretty good at doing heels.

"I like face masks. I like deep conditioner treatments. I like using moisturiser (everyday). I just like looking after myself tbf
Are we offering specifics, or are we virtue signalling? "

I love a really good cowash - a
As I Am tends to be my go to brand. Coco and Eve do a really good hair mask as well - tend to use that once every couple of weeks (the joy of 3B and 3C curls).
Sleeping on silk pillowcases really helps reduce frizziness as well.
I'd carry on but basically imagine a clichéd mixed race millennial everything shower products and yep. That's me. |

There used to be a Lady on here, who did glycolic face peels and micro dermabrasion. Your face is red and sore the next day, but the results are great a few days later.
My favourite treatment is full body flail with tee tree and eucalyptus branches. You’re basically flogged in a sauna and all the oils go into your skin , feels amazing for days after |

I am pretty basic considering everything that people slather on nowadays. My daughter is 12 and she has a skincare routine. I never have just wash face with soap haha
Shower everyday using soap- never shower gel … sometimes I will use shower gel if I like the scent but will still use soap. Shampoo, conditioner…
Makeup is very basic and it is a combo of high end brands and Boots basics. My favourite lipstick is from Boots natural collection and it is £2.99. My Dior 999 lipstick sits at the bottom of my handbag most of the time.
Perfume I do like and spend a little more on that. |

I did. I masturbated.
And you didn't share at the time? "

Recently I seem to have consolidated my metrosexual regimen to a less cluttered' set of products: I use the inexpensive The Ordinary™ 100% Plant-Derived Squalane oil for my post-shave facial hydration and scalp, in addition their Sulfate Body and Hair shower wash.
Not everything is branded - I still have to use some mild and medicated skincare 'stuff' prescribed by my GP. All these ritualistic pleasures make me feel relaxed and p+sitive. |

Yeah hard pass on that. I'd probably end up covered in blisters and scars. |
