….pheasant is standing outside my window this morning. He’s making a hell of a racket with his calls. He looks delicious for our Christmas meal. 
Who wants a pheasant for Christmas? We have a fair few parading themselves around here. You’ll need to come and shoot them yourselves; I don’t have the heart to.

What makes these ones magnificent. Is it the way they stand and posture or perhaps the look and plumage, maybe their size or the way they behave or is it just a case of there are just too many and you want rid of some |
