Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"In the forum I have seen quite a lot of competitiveness from women chasing the same men. I'm sure it's the same the other way around though. "
That's an interesting observation, especially when lots of posts from men are about women not showing any interest, outside side of the forum. |

"How many women buy cars or motorbikes with the expectation it will make them more attractive to men?
Men are easily more competitive than women when it comes to getting laid
"
I can see your point - having said that some women (and I include myself) can be competitive in some areas of life. For example I love being faster and try to be as strong in the gym as a man who is comparable in age and frame. It is not seriously competitive just a bit of fun.
When playing certain games where you have to use wit I am competitive but again more for fun. |

"Do you mean between the sheets or on the site?
I am very competitive in my normal everyday life... But not on here!
"
To be fair you don't need to be competitive on here everyone can see your pics and come to you x |

How many men go on ridiculous diets, spend fortunes on beauty treatments and wear bloody uncomfortable shoes and incomprehensible undergarments to make them more attractive to women?
I don't think it's a matter of competitiveness between sexes, but the level of perceived attractiveness. |

Surely it is an individual thing ?
Some people are naturally more competitive than others and this will extend into their sex lives too.
So, I dare say there is sexual competitiveness within both sexes.
Where the lines become blurred is when competitiveness is really used as a pseudonym for point scoring and / or getting one over on someone (or at least attempting to). |

Who knows |
Women complain that guys are competitive, yet how many of them will admit to either conciously or subconciously, slipping into conversation a past occurrence with another guy.
The nature of the beast with guys is that every one wants to be top dog..... go figure |

Maybe that is why at some level many women look for that competitive "alpha" male BS ...? Maybe we cannot help it at some level? Just a thought... |
