Early to mid 2000s derogatory slang term for a young person (often of British origin) who comes from a low-end socio-economic background.
Some of these guys might try to tell you differently and say something about clothing, speech or whatever, but that's really what it is. |

Agree with the description, dates are wrong though. Widely used in college when I was 17 so goes back at least to mid 90's
I've heard it started as a reference to people from Chatham (Kent) which was close to college but have no idea if this is true. |
