It’s an attraction to both men and women, can be romantic or sexual.
However it’s also down to that person to know how strong that attraction is, for them to decide if their sexuality can be defined as bisexual. |

I think of myself as pansexual, because I genuinely don't care what the contents of someone's pants are as long as I find that person interesting.
Obviously I have an intense fondness for certain things that require a penis, and I doubt I'd enter a monogamous relationship with someone who didn't have one and exclude myself from that joy. But then I doubt I'd enter a monogamous relationship with anyone at all. To me bisexual means you like and play with both men and women.
I see bi curious as you thinking about it or still deciding it you like it.
You can just be sexually bi, I've seen many say they're not bisexual as they wouldn't date the same sex. It seems to be very subjective though, some don't think they are bi, if they don't fancy the same sex. |

To me Bi, or Bisexual mean exactly the same. Equally attracted to and will have sex with both male or female. But of course one may have a preference for either gender. What I don't get is the amount of guys that message me (thank you love it) for a meet that have "straight" on their profile! Imo the only people who can define bi is a bi person and what it means to them. I like meat but occasionally eat stuff without it, they doesn’t make me fractionally vegetarian. What does come across quite loudly (on here) is that bi people tend to prefer the opposite gender, and the same sex bit is fractional or convenience. |

I find the focus on labels curious. That said, to answer the Q.
Personally, I see myself as bisexual because it best explains the fact that I enjoy sex with both men and women, and I would date either. If I was only allowed to choose one sex to play with for the rest of my life it would be men, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t miss women or that I’m not ‘proper’ bi.
Im also attracted to both masculine men or more girly males (incl CDs and TVs) or to very feminine or more butch girls - I guess it makes me a pansexual or saposexual but I just relate more to that term bi, and I feel that’s my tribe.
I think women are generally more comfortable labeling themselves as bi. I have guy friends who have had sex with men and still see themselves as hetro / bi curious / het exible because they wouldn’t date a man, or guys who has over ever fancied a TV/TS and label themselves bi.
So totally personal choice not black and white I think!! |

For us it is an attraction to both men and woman. We would add that like straight attraction it depends on the person.
So whilst the Mrs can be attracted to a woman it is not all woman which is why we have bi curious on our profile.
