So you're in the middle of sex, or foreplay and the other person stops.
What's your immediate thought?
Is it...
What's wrong?
What did I do wrong?
Am I not doing it right?
Don't they like what I'm doing?
Does it throw you off completely and start a negative thought process?
I've encountered it throwing a man off completely when I've 'adjusted'. And adjustments can be anything from freeing up a body part that's been squished, or in an uncomfortable position to slightly adjusting an angle because it'll just hit that spot a bit more.
So what sort of sort of adjustments do men and women make that the other gender might not understand? And what adjustments do both genders make? Let's help each other out with understanding.

Nothing is ever a big deal. Adjusting for comfort is kinda obvious - who doesn’t want to be comfortable? And if we’ve reached the point in our friendship where we’re fucking, then communication between us is good and trust is high. Most things will just make us giggle and carry on Xx |

Call me weird, but actually I like the adjustments.
Well, as long as we are not ending up with the same (other than doggie) position for the whole time.
I love to start and finish with doggie position, but anything between.

When he stops, I must pull some God awful face because he’s either laughed or asked me what’s wrong.
Lately I’ve been the one stopping to reposition sadly as I’ve a wonky leg that likes to spasm when left in the same position for too long. I try to hold out until the pain is completely intolerable because stopping. When my leg is not wonky, I’ve only stopped the times I’ve had a massive leg cramp.
When my labia gets folded in, I try to sort it without stopping the sex. If I’m getting squished, the same. If I can’t, I purposely push him out and rearrange. |

Happens with smaller lips too. It's just where they are and the fact they're flappy.
To answer an earlier question, trapped labia are mainly just uncomfortable but if you're low on oestrogen or someone is being rough, you can get torn labia tissue. That hurts quite a lot and will sting like hell until healed. |
