"In general, how was this year?
We had a good few meets and ticked off some naughty bucket list.
Been a tough year at home with family life.
Glad to see the back of this year.
Good riddence 2023."

Personal life has had its ups and downs this year but ok now
Sexual life has been wild clocked my most miles up in a year ever and I don’t mean traveling ha ha |

Really a mixed bag... lost my dad at the end of January, so having to deal with that as well as struggling with my mental health, lost one of my late dad's sisters recently too... but on a positive note I've had lots of adventures and met some great people xx |

It’s been a busy year for me, I have been out of the country for 30 weeks for work visiting Brisbane, Denver, Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Zwolle, Frankfurt and Stockholm.
I have two quiet(ish) weeks of work left before I finish for the year. Then hitting the travel hard again in January spending most of the month back in Brisbane. It’s a hard life |

It’s been a mix of good, bad and very bad.
Having to pick myself up from a very dark place, which I did.
- “Life?!! Is that the best you’ve got?!”
A lot of good luck, a new job that I love. A house when all I needed was a flat. Ma few good friends helping me when I needed it the most.
And for a short time, I found a little love from a beautiful woman who made me believe that you can believe and find happiness once again in life.

It's been very up and down for me and maybe a lot of that is because I'm too emotional so treat the highs as euphoric and the downs as depressing.
I still don't feel settled in the job in started last year leading to my impostor syndrome seriously kicking in and wondering whether I'm up for it.
Family has been challenging in terms of feeling like I have to meet their expectations of me to seem like I'm contributing.
The gym has been very good after a slow start and have that balance right now I'm allowed to go at lunch instead of waking up early in the morning like I did in the first half of the year.
My friends have been amazing to hang out with when needed and always have a good laugh and I'm probably at my happiest when I'm with them.
I lost my mojo, probably due to always feeling tired because of waking up early to go to the gym, but even then I still had some wonderful meets which have been the absolute highlight of my Fab journey so far and even though I found it later this year, I've had some realisations which have been very, very tough to face but something I needed to do so very up and down there.
Sorry for the essay |

Started off great had a few adventures and met loads of new freinds.
Then lots of things happened in my personal life such as my dad getting dementia and my mum getting admitted to hospital and my depression coming back with a vengeance.
Things are stable now so hoping 2024 will be good. |

"I posted a long response on the other thread on this topic so I'll just say that there were a couple of low points but generally a frickin awesome year for me"
I just saw the other thread too and thought "I can't be arsed copying and pasting from this thread" |

The glib answer would be I am still alive so for some that counts as a success. It's being an up and down yea, esp with two close deaths in the last few months. Hopefully new year we can hit the reset button again and try to figure out a way forward that leads to me wanting to be here.
As did this site, not had much success meet wise but had some good times on the forums and talked to a few who care so am thankful for that. |

This year has been a rollercoaster…… achieved some things I’d wanted to get to, but now life is running away from me and I am having trouble holding onto my mojo……, overall though, it has been a good one |

"Giving everyone a big hug who needs it's xx"
Yeh. Listening to everyone always makes me feel like shit when I say how hard my life is. We are all dealing with something.
Big hugs. |

Standard really, some nice highs, and some absolutely shitty lows. But mostly somewhere in the middle. Same as most years.
You’ve just got to soak up the highs and not wallow in the lows.. simple, really. |

Fucked up.
Some absolute shit and utter darkness. Some lighter moments. And now some genuine joy and light, which is paradoxically causing me untold stress |

2023 can get in the bin. I went on holiday in March, got COVID. Work has been a shit show & I still can't move into my house 3 years after buying it (massive renovation). I did go to 1 or 2 good social events so it wasn't all doom & gloom |

First half of the year was the end of the worst 12 months of my life. This has been a tough one, but things have been a bit better the last few months and sexually it's been some of the best times of my life. Mixed to say the least. |

Very difficult year health wise but all of dealwithable so far.
Attempted a relationship with someone from fab in jan and feb but gave up on that, I’m just not designed for it, developed a fwb thing, again with someone from here but it’s been off and on since march and I’m thinking it’s permanently off for at least the rest of this year!
Grafted with a few friendships from here and have some potential new meets pending which is always exciting. Had the usual vast amount of time wasters too, so I must improve on my dicktector skills!
I’ll save the New Year’s resolutions for the end of the month?
