Christmas present dilemma, HELP!
Jump to: Newest in thread
Posting this on here as jools rarely comes on the forum so happy that she won't read this.
She absolutely loves Christmas and loves giving and opening pressies.
I'm shit at Christmas I usually go to small or two big.
Here's my dilemma given that she loves Christmas I'm torn between 1 really expensive present ( I won't say exactly what just in case) it's small but I know she'll love it,
Or
Do I go for lot's of presents that she can unwrap.
Cost isn't the issue it's meaning and sentiment, she'd love it if I got her a potato and wrapped it up if I said I'd grown it especially.
Thoughts please |

If the loads of small presents are things she will equally love the same way you know she’d love the one large present, I think you have your answer.
If they are just things to say you’ve given her lots then skip them and do the one large thing you know she will absolutely love. |

If it were me, I’d give the one large present and lots of well thought of small ones too if she’s overly joyful about opening presents. |

Personally I'd give her a big present if she isn't going to feel disappointed she only has one or two things to open. As well as the day itself you need to consider the practical side of having loads of things she wants to keep! Do you have the space etc.
I bought Miss a bracelet off the diamond store recently which was very nice, if money really isn't a problem, have a look there, they've got some lovely things. |

I’m slightly different.
We used to set a budget. Sometimes £20.
Buy something personal that means something.
Given enough money we can all find something. But something small that has meaning
That said that’s maybe why I’m single |

We celebrate our 38th year together next year, I'm getting sentimental. |

"Dick in a box
- Acquire box
- Cut hole in box
- Make box look pretty
- Insert penis
- Give to wife
Classic.
Hmmmm not sure the family would be impressed on Xmas day "
Well you didn't get it for them did you? |

I'm not a very Christmassy person. But I'd go with a shit ton of presents she can unwrap, fun, silly, low value stuff. Keep the 'item' held back till last, and play it out as an afterthought. As in. Oh, and there's one left at the back of the tree... Core memory right there |

One big present. And
A few boxes of a variety of sizes (wrapped), with a hand written note in each one talking about why she means so much to you.
Put stuff in there to make the weight different. Like a giant box that weighs nothing will be suspicious, so "borrow" the baked beans for a big box with a note |
