Are women still less open than men?

My wife is, possibly due to cultural reasons , ie being Indian. We are over the age of 60 ad possibly yuonger ladies not so shy.
When we used to visit naturist beaches and often a club in kent weekdays - every man I spoke with agreed women were less open but wanted to be fucked just as men want it,
However, my findings about men wanting to see their wife fucked by one or gang bang and done often every man i spoke with agreed. There are theories in evolution that explains why women are more inclined to monogamy than men. It has to do with women having to spend 10 months in pregnancy and the child needing the mother even longer. Hence women are more attracted to men who can stick with them for long and help with child rearing.
Of course modern society is different and many women are open and happy with husbands playing with others. But the evolutionary theory could explain why women are less happy about men being with others. |

I’m not sure the reasons, but it does seem that many more 30+ men enjoy watching the wife being fucked than fucking other women themselves
When I used to go to couples parties in my 40s, there was a clear shortage of guys fucking, no shortage of wives, wanting to be fucked, and Husband wanting to watch. .For me and my male friends into full swap separate room, this was great but partners were often disappointed.

I'm not sure it's as much about openness as it is about personal preference. I'm quite young but if I had a wife, I would feel quite a bit of jealousy about seeing her with another man but as you alluded to, it could be a cultural thing having been raised with the idea of only have one partner but even without that, I think I'd still feel uneasy about it. |

Monogamy and marriage was invented by men to control women and stop them fucking other men, it didnt evolve as such. The fact women tend to prefer long term partners to a quick fuck, IMO, is more to do with how long it takes to train one to actually make you cum than anything else. |

What are men going to gain by women wanting men to be monogamous? If anything, it makes it hard for them to fuck around. The largest part of human evolution happened when we were hunter gatherers and nomadic. Isn't it natural for a woman going through pregnancy to have a man who would stick around for longer than to go through pregnancy alone, in such a society?

You could argue that in a tribal setting it would be better for women to fuck everyone, because then no child is any one guys, so the tribe is forced to raise all kids equally
That’s basically what Hypergamy is. Get pregnant by the guy with the best genes are let the tribe raise it. Monogamy is actually a wrench in natural selection

I would say it's hard for me to totally throw off society's views on female sexuality. I am more open than many but i still don't have casual sex with people i have just met. Part of this is also the sex tends to be worse and the guy cares less about the woman being satisfied than a guy who you have some sort of involvement with. |

From the very start this thread rests on the dubious but widely held premise that everything starts with men and women simply deviate from them and become somewhat inferior to them.
There can be a myriad of reasons why the O.P's conversations with others got the responses they did. Not least the given fact that the conversations were with other men and not men that were sworn to give honest responses or even admit that they lack both the prowess and experience to give a valid response. |

Sure that would be the case in some tribes. It's a very controversial topic for a reason. Apparently when we look at the last remaining tribes and the tribes about which we have more information, it looks like there is a spectrum from monogamy through different types of monogamy to outright polygamy. But based on the limited sample set we have, it looks like monogamy is more common.
The few in-between cases include having a primary partner while the women are open to have sex with other men, or having a monogamous partner for a period and then immediately moving on to another partner, etc. |

I was talking about a hubby being a Cuck.
