Taking verifications back

One thing that does puzzle me.. why can't we take our verification back, remove them or change them ourselves.. and no one would show a bad verification so why do we have the opinion to show them or not if we want to be our true selves? That way we wouldn't get so many hidden abusers on here!  |

I suppose if we used verifications only to say that a person is real then none of this would matter. And maybe that’s the intended point of them by admin? That’s all I can think of in terms of reasoning though.

Because what’s to stop someone leaving a fake negative verification that the receiver can’t delete/not show.
It’s a system that could be too easily abused. |

That is the only way I would want to use them. Because that’s not how they are used, I prefer not to verify or be verified. I’ve come to that conclusion over time, the few veris do have aren’t displayed.
It’s an imperfect system to be sure. |

If you block someone the verification disappears from their profile (but not the number on the counter)
Changing it would be prone to abuse - say I met a guy (hypothetical) who enjoyed my company then later wanted to do Sex Act X with me, I said no, and then he edited his verification to say that I was a fake meanypants whose mother smells like elderberries? People throw tantrums over much less. |

Making love? Gosh don't do that very often in the swinging world
I find veris tremendously useful at times. Perhaps more so for couples wearing my couples hat but also as a single. One single veri may not tell you much but sometimes you can see patterns especially if a veri is given by somebody you know. One of my favourite veri red flags for couples are those with a lot of veris but pretty clear the vast majority, if not all, were just social. They may have done things but in all likelihood something is wrong in the flesh or they are just not ready to go beyond socials, in which case would rather spend time with others. Maybe just us as here more for sex than the social side but know others who feel the same. |

i hide all my veri's i found out years ago how men and some couples play snide games behind peoples backs ... i was meeting one guy who used my veri's to contat all saying that i was his and the can all fuck off i was gob smacked when i found out also had guys whom i never ever met asking guys on my veri for my addy yep scary..
lastly there a element of bitchy couples on here too who will aim for your veri's and play games so no thanks ill keep mine hidden ...i will unhide if someone wants proof but thats it ...and ever since i started this new profile i rarely ask or want veri's they mean nothing or prove nothing for me as a single woman or couple ... its men that need them |

Someone can be great with you and an utter a-hole with me, or vice versa. Some people will wind each other up, others will have a lot of fun together. And people change too. I see veris all the time saying "handsome respectful... etc." about guys who have messaged me nasty disrespectful stuff, or who I don't find attractive at all. It's all subjective and never intended to be a safeguard. We all have to make our own minds up about every new person we meet and there's only so much the veri system can do, without being abused. |

Whether they can make love or not is irrelevant.
Making love? Gosh don't do that very often in the swinging world
I find veris tremendously useful at times. Perhaps more so for couples wearing my couples hat but also as a single. One single veri may not tell you much but sometimes you can see patterns especially if a veri is given by somebody you know. One of my favourite veri red flags for couples are those with a lot of veris but pretty clear the vast majority, if not all, were just social. They may have done things but in all likelihood something is wrong in the flesh or they are just not ready to go beyond socials, in which case would rather spend time with others. Maybe just us as here more for sex than the social side but know others who feel the same. "
Not always the case, nearly all our veris are from socials as we're out clubbing most weekends. We do play and love to play, but I'm a fussy bitch and won't shag owt with a pulse. We've played on numerous occasions where we've not had veris as those people aren't on here.
I'd like to think there's nothing wrong with us in the flesh either lol

I would like to know how to remove a verification from someone that I have never even met.
It is complimentary but given that I have never met the guy or even interacted with him that much at all, it was a was surprising to see it appear. |

I am sure all you have to do is go to manage verifications and select not to show that particular one |

You report it because it's against site rules and inform admin that you have never met.
I received one from a man on a previous profile. I had no idea who he was, had never met him and have no interest in men or being verified by one so it was done to stir shit. Admin removed it when I reported it. |

Whilst I can select not to show verifications, I don’t think that there is option not to show who has left one.
(I don’t want it to show that I have met an additional person that I haven’t)

No of course nothing is ever always the case and need to look at the whole picture perhaps including chatting. It's just a game of probabilities and, with limited time to meet, doing best to make sure the people you meet are most likely to be on the same page. We maybe meet once a month, sometimes privately, sometimes a party of club. For private meets we really want the maximum chance of it being more than a social. Veris just help with this. Just an example of many but do think veris can help a lot. |

100% agree with you in regards private meets. After being pissed about on all but one we no longer entertain them with couples we've never met. Club meets for them or nothing |
