You probably really aren't prepared to travel anywhere, OP. I think I see someone posting here every so often who lives in New Zealand.

"I have a limit of course i should of put that?? "

You're clearly not enthusiastic or driven to meet. What a waste of time if you're not prepared to travel vast distances.

"Just a female.. why are people asking this.. "

Because the word "female" is often considered to be derogatory or about an animal or both.

(I'm not expressing offence, I'm just explaining)

I didn’t know this either, I’m quite happy to be called a female

You may be better posting in the meet section of the forum. Probably have more luck there.

Then you wouldn't have been the ones to have disliked the term, and thus would not have been able to or needed to answer the question

I'm merely explaining for the OP, who might not have known it can be read this way.

Hope this helps.

It's the forum. It happens.

I don't want to meet, OP - and it's not even remotely personal. I was just helping you finesse your request and explaining why other people might have a problem.

"Essentially, “female” connotes a biological category, while a “woman” is a whole human person. As a result, while “woman” technically is a noun (Merriam Webster), many are embracing its use as an adjective to achieve a more inclusive meaning that emphasizes gender over biological sex."

I'm pretty sure you don't actually call women females in real life do you?

Indeed. I prefer to describe them as women as many don' like being called females.

Yes, the term is technically correct, but there's just something about it that rubs a lot of them up he wrong way.

Being told to get over myself because someone disagrees with me about what I'm allowed to consider distasteful is *such* a turn on. Oh baby oh baby

I've said in the past (not about this post) that at its worst, Fab makes me feel that I fit into the category of "holes, pulse optional"

Ffs the mind boggles.. If you find being called a female offensive you need to have a stern word with yourselves.

Granted, OP may have been better saying any ladies, or women, as that's a much nicer way to write it, but female being offensive is once again the PC brigade gone stark raving mad.

He's clearly just posted for a meet, so why couldn't people either just say no thanks, or even better.... Don't reply... As is the preferred way of replying to a personal message from all I've read so far on the forums?

But instead people are far too quickly to want to lambast people these days instead of taking it in the context it was meant.

Don't want to cause any offence, just saying it as it is.

Anyway, happy Thursday humans..

In fairness some of the responses to OP were trying to help. It seems "female" is condescending to some ladies.

I've never thought of it like that but would I be offended by Male? No.

But is guy or man nicer, I guess it is. So if you want as big a scope as possible maybe use the "softer" or less medical term.

I dont think it's about being offended, but, about being more appealing. Love to y'all x

Chill your jets people. The poor bloke just wants a meet with a woman, a lady, a lass, a member of the opposite sex which is a female in this case.

Maybe, seeing as the OP is young lad, he finds it confusing as the fab tick boxes indicate f= female m=male, but then there's no w= women, but it shows the word women in the looking for.....

Either way OP some are OK and some are not and having the attitude of get over it won't help. Would you like it if you were called boy for being young?

People who deal with an explanation about why people don't like something like this are just telling on themselves
