"No mention of an ox tongue there OP. We always used to get an ox tongue from the butchers to cook up at Christmas. "
I am sorry, not for me but a good reminder for anyone else if they like it. Thanks though. |

Of course you can. Not big on lager these days unless on a hot summer day. Whiskey is not my thing as I go for a nice brandy/cognac instead. Thanks for the suggestion. |

"You seem to have forgotten our invitation. Or is it on the post?
I will put one of those status you see on profiles on the day, "house to myself till 7, anyone free, hmu?"
ok, I'll grease the moped up ready "
Has it got side bags? I am sure will be leftovers to take back too |

Of course! They're refrigerated for that very purpose |

This has no doubt already been mentioned but….
Pickled onions
These are essential to go with cheese and biscuits.
If I’ve missed them then I’ll forthwith go to Specsavers and get my glasses cleaned. |

Piccalilli. Just so you can put it back in the cupboard cos nobody likes it. A bit like Dates. Two things we always had at Christmas that nobody ever ate. |
