Following up from a topic post I did yesterday about ‘what’s the hardest job in the world’ after a podcaster said ‘being a cam girl’ was the hardest job . It got me thinking:
In your Opinion & rating hierarchy of hardest jobs?
Where you you rate being a Cam girl/boy out of 1000?
1 being the hardest job ever, 500 being mildly difficult & 1000 being the easiest job ever.
FYI this is not meant as a dig to people who do these jobs I’m sure it has its challenges it’s just general discussion between adults. |

I’d rate it pretty high in my toughest jobs if I was going to. But I can’t really rate it because it’s unfair to do that. Work is relatively hard in general I think but especially when you work hard. Which sounds obvious but yeah |

Sometimes just continuing to exist at all is the hardest job in the world.
Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, all jobs have their own pros and cons. My dream job could be the absolute worst job in the world for someone else.
Everyone has challenges. Some roles do come with more, but there's usually enough balance or compensation to make it worthwhile. And it comes down to choices. |

I’d say being a sex worker is pretty low on the demanding job scale if we are talking about digital sex work
It’s crazy to think these people often get paid way more than teachers and nurses |

I've seen tv shows about cam women and men. It seems to consume their life, be utterly dreary and pretty depressing. Much like many jobs really.
I think the hardest jobs as I said on the other thread are those that involve the care of other people, paid or unpaid. The emotional toll must is huge because you either have to become largely indifferent or experience the highs and lows. |

Some people might find sex work - online and offline - relatively easy. The extroverted, marketing driven, etc. (I said "relatively") But I think the work aspect of it tends to get downplayed because of ongoing stigma about sex work not being "real".
I would find sex work of all kinds very difficult because it plays to my weaknesses, not my strengths.
I think all work is hard, even if you're good at it, if you're conscientious about pushing the envelope and being better. |

"I've read the op wrong. Doh!
I'd rank cam person very low on difficulty level. Boring maybe but not hard."
The things I'd find very difficult are marketing in a highly saturated market, and the levels of demands/ abuse that would presumably come with the territory. |

I couldn't be bothered. Aside from which I doubt there's much demand for 67 year olds with chin hair. |

I'm not doing it either, but I suppose what I'm saying is, that's the things I think would be difficult about the job, even if bouncing up and down on a dildo all day doesn't require any skill (I think it might require some skill, but... you know what I mean) |

Niche markets are usually the most popular
There’s no shortage of young women trying to make a quick buck on OF
A scraggly chinned OAP would actually do really well |

I was watching something on tv about that. The woman who does the bouncing said she's often dry and sore and get frequent bouts of thrush. The glamour seems to be missing |

Going to play a little divals advice here
As say yes being a cam girl or influencer porn star or YouTuber or anything along those lines in this day and age is a very hard job for woman
You just have to start looking in to the back story’s off some off these people to understand
For example take the YouTuber Kallmekris she worked her ass off to buy the big luxury house only to have her own fans ruin it for her and she had to end up selling it she didn’t do anything wrong when she movied in she done a tour guide off the house some crazy fans manged to get a glims off the outside world and used google maps to find her house and stalk her it’s such a shame she literally had to sell her dream home to get away from them
There’s also another story I seen days ago can’t remember the youtuber name but her fans are sending her threads because she’s pregnant
There’s lot off crazy people in the world

I would find cam work pretty easy to be honest. A bit boring, repetitive and fake. But it wouldn't be difficult if I was comfortable naked. But you never know the reasons why someone might find it difficult. |

Yep having done 2 out of the 3 simultaneously I can say that the first is easily the least demanding. Yet what I earned in 3 weeks was half my full time day job salary. Crazy! (And odd to think anyone would claim it was more challenging!!).
My full time job has had me being punched in the face. There's not many jobs where you're expected to put up with that. |
