I am a huge Crutchlow fan and would love to see him perform this season.
I think this will likely be Rossi's last season and I would like to see him go out on a high. I think he has more chance of being competative now he is back on the Yamaha

Crutchlow is hungry and has 3 years experience in the top flight, he's also going to want the Yamaha number 2 bike when Rossi goes.
I think Marques will challenge the top 3 all year but it's a big ask in your first year. Rossi will struggle to get in the top 6
Stoner will be back for a season in 2015, he has unfinished business |

can i say a few things...
1) nothing wrong with NASCAR... lol the 500 last week was really exciting...
2) can't wait for moto GP to start.. but I want them to get back to more level racing... I don't want it to be just works honda vs works yamaha
3) I don't bedruge sky having the F1 because they are showing us the stuff we would never have seen on BBC anyway, such as testing, and the practice sessions.......
at least you have a choice over how much F1 coverage you have...
anyway hasn't jake gone to BT sport/ESPN... he will front their next seasons premier league coverage |

I can't watch NASCAR on TV,but was lucky enough to go to a race a few years ago and had seats by the wall, live its far more exciting than F1.
Sadly Fabio I can't see MotoGP being anything other than between works Hondas and Yamahas no other manufacturers have the money to run prototype teams. |

Unfortunately it is all a case of money in MotoGP, the satalite teams just cannot compete with the factory teams on a financial level. Would be nice for everyone to be on an even keel but its not going to happen anytime soon.
Despite that...I actually can't wait! 5 weeks and counting!

Going by the testing im saying its going to be a fight between...
Vettel - since hes the golden boy and can do no wrong unless his car isn't quickest and the toys come out the pram lol
Webber - If he can get off to a good start I can see him challenging and would love for him to win his home GP
Hamilton - I see him a bit like Alonso, give him a slow car and he can out perform the car although I think Mercedes have something funky going on under the covers
Rosberg - Just cause hes hot
Alonso - I view him as the best driver in F1 and you could give him a bathtub on wheels and he would still be near the front lol
Button - Always think hes underrated as a driver but hes got a good chance now as a no1 driver with Lewis gone.
Kimi - If Lotus is as good as they say I think hes got a shout.
And that's what I think. Although Id love for a laugh if they turned up in Oz and Marussia had the fastest car and Chilton won the first race lol |

It's all about the tyres this year and who can make them last, testing has proved nothing this year, so oz could prove interesting.
Sorry nikki, but Max has got where he has because of daddy's wallet, even in the fastest car he would still be average at best!
Webber is a good wing man to vettel, but no more.
can't stand alonso personally, yes i've met and worked with him,arogant is an understatement! but he can definately pedal!
I think the smooth drivers will win over the hard racers this year. like i said, tyre management is key in 2013 |

It's a shame MotoGP is as it is. I'm a child of the 80's GP's and the late 70's and early 80's were the period for me. Full grids, great riders not even qualifying and leaving the paddock Sunday morning without a ride but then everyone moving on to an International the following weekend. GP riders being shown the way home by wildards at GPs and at Nationals or Internationals at home. Fabulous. That silence just before the flag drops for a push start. Used to stir me inside. And I was on the inside!!
Looking forward to the start of the F1 season though. As an engineer I like the engineering as much as the racing. And as for filming these days, that camera angle showing the cars turning right, flat out at the back of the Hockenheim circuit, (first right after the hairpin at the back), last year showed how quick they really were. Stunning. |
