I didn’t expect much but actually a fantastic selection- making my car journeys much more pleasurable having got a bit fed up with Podcasts.

Listening to a book while working today

Anybody else enjoying this relatively new feature and what are you listening to?

Caerphilly

There's a lot of the classics for free on there which I'll listen to when out on the big walks because... eh, a lot of the classics don't grab me enough to rest into a chair with I guess.

The audiobook selection is too good for me not to dip in soon, though

Not sure - I have Spotify Family Premium but just discovered I’m limited to 15 hours of audiobooks a month…

But now thanks to you I’ve discovered Kindle Unlimited!! The amount I spend on books in a year makes this a no brainer plus I can continue with audiobooks

I have two magazine subscriptions on unlimited that make it worth the monthly fee before I even get to the books.

I'll have a look at Spotify to see if I can access it without a fee because I need something else to prevent me from doing what I actually need to do

I have an Audible subscription and have listened to a lot of books, mostly autobiographical and read by the person themselves.

Just finished Patrick Stewart's memoirs and have also listened to Bono, David Essex, Bobby Robson, Phil Collins and Sinead O'Connor the week she passed away.

Also finished Matthew Perrys audiobook 2 days before he died.

He was on Radio X the other day. I never realised he is the brother of the guitarist in Suede!

With that kind of coincidence Patrick Stewart ought to put his affairs in order

Don’t you dare read anything of David Attenborough’s
