Warnings of potato and vegetable shortages this Christmas and predictions of empty shelves. Is this another ploy to make us panic buy. It's all over the news?

If you cook them properly, then no farts. People boil them far too long

Oh crumbs!

A first world humanitarian catastrophe!

We ain’t gonna get our faces stuffed full enough of Christmas dinner this year cause we need to skimp on the vegetables.

My MP had better prepare himself for a pretty stiff letter from me, I can tell you that !

I do it in a wok Tom

Cut ends off sprouts

10 minute boil in salted water

Put on a baking sheet and sprinkle with oil, slightly flatten them

Bake them in oven

In wok put oil, garlic, chilli powder on low for a few minutes

Get sprouts from oven onto a plate, drizzle with your chilli garlic oil add sesame seeds for texture and a bit of flaky salt on top

Enjoy

Easy enough to grow in the garden, if you're fortunate to have one. Perhaps plan next year's cultivation, as unsettled weather is now fairly predictable

I have a few frozen sprouts. If I can't get any spuds, my offspring will be getting the Aunt Bessie's roasties I bought last week...So no panic buying here...

Lol - If you satisfy everyone's sprout shortage requirements, your New Year's Resolution will be to get some well-earned willy rest.

A problem you can thoroughly enjoy!
