"Sarah milligan is hilarious, I'm a pun lover so Tim Vine and Milton Jones, Dara O'brien also gets my vote "
I love Milton Jones! Puntastic and never crude.

We’ve been to see a couple of up and coming comedians recently - they’ve both been on Live at the Apollo and one was on Have I got News for you:-
Scott Bennett
Ignacio Lopez
Both different in their approach but both very funny.

That’s certainly an interesting combo! Rik Mayall was really good. I like Stewart Lee and Dylan Moran. Robin Ince and Ed Byrne have their moments too. |

Oh and OP, don’t let anyone humour-shame you.
Humour is subjective and just because it may not be to their taste or values, it doesn’t make it any less valid

Paper Town Central, Essex. |
Mike Harding.
Bill Bailey,
Richard Digence.
Jasper Carrot
Interestingly enough, none of them have the need to swear and all are musicians in their own right.
More of what you'd call Journeymen actually. |

All time favourite has to be Stewart Lee. He has had me struggling to breathe many times.
But I finally got to see Daniel Kitson this last year and the praise he gets from Lee and other comics is thoroughly deserved.

I used to live going to live comedy “new material” nights every week for a fiver after work in central London. Thanks Pandemic for ruining that! So I’m really out of touch now with who’s new or up and coming, watching this post with interest. |

"The Scouse one Paul someone seems ok
Very few truely funny comedians people like chubby brown aren’t actually funny unless you like the swearing side.
But tbf humour is subjective I guess"

"Comedians can't be comedians any more. They have to walk a fine line as to not offend.
Because you can't be funny unless you offend someone, kids!" well Yes it's called comedy for a reason. |

Paul Smith us brutal, you'd have to be brave to buy a front row seat because he will target you.
No-one is safe, and I mean no-one.
Is it juvenile, probably, but I don't care, it makes me laugh and we all need to grab any chance of laughter these days. |

I don’t watch a lot of stand up comedy shows. I mostly see comedians when they appear as panellists on quizzes etc.
I have seen (on tv) and enjoyed shows by Bill Bailey, Dave Gorman and Eddie/Suzie Izzard.
From back in day I enjoyed Dave Allen, Jasper Carrott and Billy Connolly. |
