ok my 2p worth I'd say a club - a lot more poeple around obviously so it might seem more full-on but if you tell her that means you and she can blend into the background a bit, just observe if you want, choose your own level of participation - in my experience at least with house parties (smallish ones anyway) there's a bit more of an expectation that everyone will be comfortable with approximately the same level of interaction, and it'd be a lot harder to just be a wallflower. Depends a lot on how confident your friend is of course. Also I'd tend to go for a couples-only night at a club, a lot less pressure that way. |
