You can cut the air in my office with a knife today.
Someone has returned from suspension and One person is not happy with it and is huffing and puffing round the office.
Over the last few months since we have been told our contract is finishing 2 distinct factions have arisen. I seem to have a foot in each camp so get the moans from both sides.
We are only a small team so any issue is magnified but it's certainly not making working here very pleasant and I can't seem to find a way to make it better (although not my job as I'm not the manager) ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |

Ive got this going on with 2 of my staff at the moment...and im sick of the he said she said situation.
So i have arranged a little meeting with me as mediator and they can get all issues with each other out in the open then decide how they are going to move forward.
And if they decide nobody is going to move forward then they will be told in no uncertain terms neither one is irreplaceable as in our line of work we can't have a break in the chain and they need to be working together as they are both supervisors.
I know you can't give them terms as not the manager but you may be able to be the mediator and try and get them to talk things through and clear the air. |
