I was message by someone the other week and I thought I will do a Google lens search. It came up with a news article about the gentlemans tattoos where it gave his name.
So I messaged back hello (name)
Funny thing is he didn't know what I was thinking about.

Thanks Sam, and do you just download the image and then do Google lense?
So basically just because someone is photo verified, doesn't mean the rest of the profile pics are them?
I ? this the other week actually. There should be a better system in place surely?? |

I think you take a picture or a screenshot and then it searches the internet for images that match
You’re correct they could be verified then use a porn star photo of a huge c.ck

It searches web for same pic...bingo....or similar "

I did one recently where it looks for similar images, put a current photo of me and discovered that some cheeky beggars are using my photos on another adult site. Mind u the photo is from about 17 years ago!
Pimeye it was I used.
Tineye is another good one.

Just had a similar result with Lens. Identified the pic of a lady as being from a porn site. I'd had my suspicions the couple's profile was really a single bloke pretending, but went along with it on the off chance. But Lens confirmed it was a fake. Sad, but not unexpected  |
